Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good I bought this speaker for a beach vacation because it was listed as waterproof--I used it in water (pool) and on the beach (exposed to sand) and found it to be durable. The sound quality is impressive--not super loud but clear. Great speaker for the money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far Gr8!! I bought this factory refurb unit here, I've previously had the Micro Wireless which is excellent but the old-school volume wheel is the 'weak link'. I have also had the clip that was a further design improvement but the battery life was awful [2.5 hrs] which seems to be a common issue. I was please to be able to get a good deal on the Clip 2. I love the newest iteration of the features. The battery life thus far is phenomenal, I really like the quality and feel of the shell materials. The sound is not too different from the other two models but I may be a bit louder and 'boomier'... After about two weeks of daily use I am pleased and would recommend it.

My Clip 2 was working fine at the first time, then I charged it without turn it off and now the blue and red LEDs are blinking alternately. No button works anymore. The audio cable also doesn't work. How can I do with it now?

Asked by: Claudia Liu
I have the same problem. Bought it today for a road trip starting tomorrow but all it does is flash red and blue. Nothing works including the rest. I guess I'll just have to hope the fix Gresham suggests works. Rather disappointed and not very impressed though.

I can't get my new Clip 2 to pair with an iPhone 7.  Any suggestions?  This is a deal killer for me as I bought it just for this reason.  I will have to return it if it isn't compatible.

Asked by: No iPhone compatibility
Make sure that the CLIP 2 is in pairing mode and the Bluetooth on your iPhone 7 turned ON. 1. Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the speaker until it makes its pairing sound, there should also be a blue light indicator meaning that its ready to pair. 2. Turn ON the Bluetooth of your device. 3. Your device should be able to see the speaker on its Bluetooth pairing list and connect to it. 4. Once connected, try to play music to make sure that the unit is properly connected. If this does not fix the issue, Please do a reset on your CLIP 2. While the unit is turned on, press and hold the Volume + and Phone buttons for more than two seconds. The CLIP 2 will turn off and this should reset your speaker. You may also try a different source/device. If this doesn't help, please submit a case request at www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to further assist you.

It has issues with Skype on my laptop Windows 10. He provides two profiles (stereo and hands-free) but 'hands-free' doesnt work for Skype audio. I can change it for speaker by switching to 'stereo' but this is not possible for microphone. can you help?

Asked by: Andrea Dubai
We are sorry to hear that you are having issues using your CLIP 2 for Skype. Ideally, hands-free should be the profile used. On your Skype's settings, please check if the correct devices are used for both playback and recording. If you are still having issues, please submit a case at jbl.com/contactus and our Customer Service Team will be glad to assist you.

Is there any way to disable sleep mode on CLIP 2

Asked by: JACOB 123
It is auto sensing and will turn off if no audio signal is detected for approximately 10 minutes. So, if you have the volume on the CLIP 2 cranked up, and the volume on your source device set really low, it is very possible that the CLIP 2 is not seeing enough of an audio signal to know to stay on. Please try turning the volume on the CLIP 2 down a bit, and then crank up the volume on your source device to get to the level you desire. This will send a signal to the CLIP 2 and it should stay on without any issues.
