Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good sound. Love the weatherproof aspect. Bought two to mount in my Polaris Razr. I needed speakers that would link wirelessly. I was stoked when I found these and they worked just as advertised. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Good speaker. I bought this speaker about 2 months ago but I haven't really used it because im starting a Bluetooth speaker collection. But i tested out a different one at a target and i have to say the sound is pretty impressive. Also the waterproofing, bass radiators and charging port for different devices is a very nice touch for the price. Well done i will be buying more products from jbl for sure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound quality and loudness I have had it for two months plus. It's great. I want more units. Small soze means i can hide a few in my room so we only listen to the sound, not gaze at the speaker!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DO NOT UPDATE FIRMWARE I just bought two JBL charge3. Connect function was awesome until new firmware release. I have updated one of my JBL charge3 and connect function gone so I thought I need to update second speaker both to be the same version. However after updating second speaker I still unable to use both speakers at the same time with connect function. They tying to connect but music play only from one speaker... Disappointment.

Hi. I am wondering if this speaker has ever been used with skype function on a PC. I was just wondering if the speaker could be used to amplify the sound and use the microphone so that I can skype with a group of people?

Asked by: zjason
I assume the CHARGE 3 works on your PC when playing music. If this is the case, the CHARGE 3 should work for Skype. Please go to the setting on Skype and set the CHARGE 3 as the device to use from the Microphone, Speakers, and Ringing drop-down lists. If this doesn't help, make sure you are using the latest version of Skype and you will need to ensure that the Bluetooth software and drivers on your PC are up to date.

I would like to buy a JBL Charge 3 for a friend in Tahiti French Polynesia. Will they be able to charge the speaker there? The power is 220 volts 60 hertz. Can they charge it with an adapter?

Asked by: Schooner
The voltage input requirement for the CHARGE 3 is 5V / 2.3A, the adapter that came with the unit is set to auto volt and can be plugged in to a 100-240V power outlet. So the answer is yes, it can be used in Tahiti.

I got my JBL Charge 3 and put it on a weight scale and it says it weights 783g (just the speaker nothing else) . It says it is supposed to weigh 800g. Is this a problem?

Asked by: Anonymous11
I was just wondering because the weight on JBL Xtreme is 2112g and the Pulse 2 is 775g. Looks like the measurements on the website are quite accurate so if my Charge 3 has 17g of difference that's strange.

Bought the Charge 3, and it had 4 led lights for battery. I began charging it and the 5th led has been blinking for 2 hours. How do I know when it is fully charged?

Asked by: Dothedew
The battery normally charges from 0 to full in 3.5 hours using the power adaptor provided. When full charge has been reached, all the indicators light constantly. In some cases, the fifth light indicator keeps on blinking, but does not light up constantly, no matter how long charging continues. Sometimes it will show a constant blinking light after charging has been stopped. This is normal, caused by tolerances in the circuits, and is no cause for alarm. The battery is charged to the same level.
