Hi  I bought the JBL charge 3 waterproof with ip67. Can I use it with water? You publish that the ramkol can be inside the water until 30 minutes, until 30 cm under the water, I want to ask if it's right and I can use it with water or wash it?

Yes, The device is water-proof, but only to 1m. debth for 30 minutes max. in accordance with the international IPX7 standard.

1. Will the "Charge 3" play music stored on a "Thumb Drive"? 2. Where is the owners manual for the "Charge 3"?

Unfortunately, the CHARGE 3 and all our other portable speakers do not have a USB port nor an SD card slot to play music files from. The Quick Start Guide is the only form of owner’s manual available for the CHARGE 3. It can be found on product Specs & Support page.

Why there is delay in sound when 2 JBL charge3 are connected with JBL connect. Can this issue be resolved by firmware upgrade?

Hi, There shouldn't be a delay between the 2 Charge 3's when using JBL Connect. Of course, there can be some delay from the source device to the Charge 3, and this may be a bit longer when using 2 Charge 3's with JBL Connect. This sadly has nothing to do with the product itself, but with Bluetooth Technology. There will always be a ( slight ) delay on Bluetooth, so using wireless Bluetooth speakers for video is not recommended. If you have more questions, please contact us on customer.support@harman.com

Has the recertified version of the JBL Charge 3 ever been used beforehand?

These products have been thoroughly checked and tested to meet the high standards that are set by HARMAN. A recertified product contains the same features and functionalities as a new model, and we supply the same warranty with these products as with similar new ones. You may see some minor cosmetic imperfections, and perhaps the product has been repackaged, but you can be assured that these products will perform perfectly. What you are experiencing is not normal. To determine where the problem is, please try using a different source. If the issue persists, please try a reset by following these steps: 1. Power ON the device, then press and hold the "Volume+" and the "Play/Pause" buttons at the same time. 2. When the device switches off after a few seconds, sounding the OFF prompt, it has been reset. You may start the pairing process again. I noticed that you are in Norway. If this doesn't help, please submit a case at https://no.jbl.com/support-contact.html#ns and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to further assist you.

JBL Charge 3 or Flip 4?

It will depend on what you need. If you prefer playing music with more bass, we would recommend the CHARGE 3 since it has a lower frequency response and bigger transducers than the FLIP 4. The CHARGE 3 also acts as a power bank since you can charge other devices with this speaker unlike the FLIP 4 which does not have that feature. When it comes to the JBL Connect feature, the FLIP 4 is more advanced since it already has the JBL Connect+ feature, wherein you may link it with more than 100 JBL Connect+-enabled speakers, unlike the CHARGE 3 which only has the JBL Connect, where you can only link it with 1 JBL Connect-enabled speaker. The JBL Connect+ feature is not backwards compatible to the JBL Connect and vice-versa. I noticed that you are in India. Can we please fix the startup sound already? It seems like a minor change... I'm returning this if the startup sound doesn't go away.

Unfortunately, there is no way to turn down the volume or turn it off. The guide and the startup sound is fixed and the volume cannot be minimized. Your feedback will be communicated to the proper department(s) to improve on future product designs. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
