Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great speaker I would recommend to everyone but I think it is best for close play

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing product with great sound! After I figured out that pairing only requires a push of button and not usual hold, it paired in seconds and sounds amazing. It can connect to my phone even from another level of the house and is compact enough for travel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Sound in a Small Speaker! This is a great speaker and holds up. We go camping a lot and it clips on a backpack perfectly and provides quality sound that is actually loud enough for our group. Another thing I like is it started storming on one of our recent trips and guess what? It still works perfectly! I liked it so much I have bought three as gifts for others!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value It sounds better than I expected. It's compact yet has big sound. I was surprised by how clean it sounded. Although it is a small speaker, it tends to "break" with the lows, which is expected. Overall, definitely recommend this bluetooth speaker for any use, in and around water or not.

I charged the speaker.  With the power cord plugged in there is a solid blue light.  However, I can't turn the speaker ON when I disconnect from the power cord.  I can't pair the device either.  Is it possible this speaker is faulty?

Can I wirelessly Daisy Chain my JBL Xtreme to my clip 2 it doesn't appear to be possible.

Asked by: Mikey5959
Unfortunately, no. The CLIP 2 has the wireless daisy chain function which is different from the JBL CONNECT feature of the XTREME. Here are other portable speakers that have the Connect function: FLIP 3, PULSE 2, BOOST TV, CHARGE 3 and SB450.

After I charged the clip 2 it flashes both red and blue light. Then I can't restart it or do anything else with it. What's wrong with it? How do I reset this speaker? Having the same problem and reset method doesnt work/change anything!

Asked by: Nick505
Sorry to hear of this problem you are having. What you are experiencing is not normal. Please do a reset on your CLIP 2. To do this, while the unit is turned on, press and hold the Volume + and Phone buttons for more than two seconds. The CLIP 2 will turn off and this should reset your speaker. If this doesn't help, please submit a case request at www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service Team will be more than happy to further assist you.

I plugged in my new speaker to charge it and there is no red indicator light showing... does that mean it is fully charged? Also, when I disconnect from charger the blue power on/off light functions appropriately

Asked by: Dallas Alice
What you are experiencing is normal. The CLIP 2 will have a LED indicator colored red when charging and once fully charged(if the unit is switched ON) the LED indicator will switch back to a solid blue light. When the CLIP 2 is charged while Off, the LED indicator would go off indicating full charge. The battery indicator that shows on iOS devices only displays when the unit is full (a full battery icon), when it is discharging (shows half battery icon) and when it requires a charge (empty battery icon) unlike normal battery indicators that shows gradual decrease (or increase) on battery level.

Is there a trick to pairing this Clip 2 to multiple devices. I know it can connect to only one at a time. After I pair the speaker to one device, it no longer shows up on any other devices while trying to discover it via the bluetooth set ups.

Asked by: Joe6969
The trick to pairing the second device is how you push the bluetooth button. Once the Clip 2 is paired to your first phone and you want to pair the second, just quickly tap the bluetooth button on the Clip 2. If you do a long push on the bluetooth button, the Clip 2 goes into daisychain mode. If you quickly push and release, it will go back into bluetooth pairing mode.

I just bought the JBL clip 2 and there is no paring pin listed, can you tell me what it is?

Asked by: ttitus
The CLIP 2 does not require any Bluetooth pairing pin. It would normally be the source that is requesting for the pin. The default pin code is "0000".
