hi! i just wanna know why is my JBL Go sounds like the volume is going up and down simultaneously, like it is losing some power/volume? consider there is no interference from the source, and i just bought it yesterday.

Asked by: lorezon01
Please make sure that the source device isn’t receiving notification prompts (email, text). When this happens, the phones volume goes down for a split second to gain users attention. If you are connected to an external speaker, you will hear it instead of the phones built in speaker. Also, If you are cranking it all the way, the system is limiting to protect itself from damage. This is likely what you are experiencing. If it happens only when you crank it up, you simply need to turn it down, or turn down the bass, or both.

Do we need to reset it from time to time? Can we use 2 GO's with one source? How can we troubleshoot this fella?

Asked by: tpot
Yes, you can use 2 JBL GOs with one source but only using a wire connection. What you’ll be needing is an aux splitter “Y” cable that can be purchase from an electronics store to play 2 JBL GOs from one source. The only time to reset the speaker is, if it’s behaving erratically or you are going to connect to a new source. If you are experiencing any issue with the speaker, please perform a factory reset by following these steps: Power must be ON. Then press the Phone and Volume (+) buttons for 2 seconds. If the issue persists, please submit a case at www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to further assist you.

Hello I'm Mark Just a question... Will the JBL Go play music in wired connection even if the device is Empty Battery?....

Asked by: Cleed15
No. The GO has to be plugged into a power source to continue using it via wired/Bluetooth connection.

Hi, I bought 3 JBL GO's for me and my kids. Is it possible to change the names of each device, so we can connect to our own device in our house?

Asked by: AlexanderWest
Unfortunately, there is no way to change the Bluetooth broadcast name for the GO. While the units can’t be renamed, each Bluetooth connection is unique. So person 1 can pair to unit one, and then turn off the unit. Person 2 can pair to unit 2, and then turn off the unit. Person 3 can pair to unit 3, and then turn off the unit. Now that each unit has been paired, when these units are turned on, you should connect ONLY to the units you are paired to.

Hi JBL, what is the maximum distance for my JBL Go?

Asked by: Sean So
The Bluetooth range of the GO is 32 ft. radius from the source. Quality goes down as obstacles hinder the quality of playback.
