Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Buy I've ever done This is probably the Best Buy I've EVER done. A guy from my favourite K-pop group bragged about this speaker, said he loved it, etc. So I bought it, and honestly?? This is the best speaker I've ever owned in my entire life. Even if the price is not very low, it shouldn't be! It connects to Bluetooth super fast, the sound and bass are just flipping AMAZING, the strap is super useful for when you want to bring it outside, and the fact that it's splashproof and that you can charge two phones with it is just... wow. Worth. Every. Single. Dollar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just brilliant! I am a hifi nut and bought a pair of these for my son on his birthday. Within minutes of listening to them I ordered a pair for myself! Amazing sound quality even outside. I think having two of these in stereo mode is more than twice as good as having one.

Can I use my jbl extreme in ac mode without damaging the unit. Thanks

Asked by: Alex d great
No, this will not damage nor affect the battery life.  It is completely safe to leave the XTREME connected to the power whether it is in use or not. Take note that using the XTREME while plugged in will prolong the charging time.

Hello, is it possible to reduce the bass permanently?

Asked by: superdude1
This is not possible. Our speakers, including the XTREME, are optimized to sound best with NO tonal adjustments and do not have an option to adjust bass or treble. As an alternative, you can normally adjust this on the source device or on the application that you are using to play your audio.

What is the projected date for the release of the firm ware that will allow all JBL Connect and Connect + speakers to pair and play in true stereo?  To a true audiophile, the JBL experience only exists in stereo.  Come on JBL.  Hook up a life long fan.

Hi before spending $300 I would like to know if the Xtreme will be supported through Connect+ I really like the JBL brand but it would be hard to justify that price if it won't be getting connect+.

Asked by: Tiko7523377
We are currently testing the XTREME, and can not yet say if Connect+ will work it. The hardware used in these products is different from that in the newer products, which come with Connect+ standard. If the results ( connectivity issues, product issues, quality issues ) are not in line with the high standard that we set for our products, we may not be releasing such an update to the XTREME. If an update however will be possible, this update will be released through our JBL Connect mobile app, available on iOS and Android devices, and you will get a notification from within the app, telling you an update is available.

The power rating specifications for the Xtreme are: -Rated power 2x 20W Bi-amp (AC mode) Does this mean that the Xtreme plays at 40 total watts only when connected to AC power?  If so, what is the power output rating when operating on battery power?

Asked by: Vann
XTREME's Rated Output Power 4 x 20W in AC mode and 4 x 10W in Battery mode

My JBL Xtreme is also not holding charge. What is the solution

Asked by: iata
To determine where the problem is, please plug it in at an alternate power source and let it charge for 3.5 hours. I noticed that you are in the UAE. If this doesn't help, please contact the store where you purchased the unit and they will be able to help.

Hi! My Xtreme never reaches full charge. The fifth led is still flashing after 15 hours of charging. Any advice?

Asked by: Max76
This is normal. In some cases, the fifth LED would keep on blinking, but will not light up constantly, no matter how long charging continues and will show a constant light when unplugged. This is caused by tolerances in the circuits, and is no cause for alarm. The battery is charged to the same level.

Hi, My brand new JBL Xtreme battery was down to flashing one light after 3 hours at max volume, does this sound faulty? I probably got another 1:30 hours out of it, turning it back on often when it died. Surely 6 hours at max is too low?

Asked by: jone
Hi Jone, Thank you for your question. Doesn't sound like the optimal experience for our product at all. Please go back to the place of purchases to claim warranty, in case you bought it from our website directly, please send us all information to customer.support@harman.com and we will help you.
