Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Decision Ever I decided to go with this amp because I had to bypass the factory head unit in my car and not just the factory amp. So this amp is the heart of my sound system, and I'm glad that I chose this amp. It's everything I imagined it to be and more. I also got a sound processor as part of my setting, but I really didn't need it. I can go on and on about how great this really is, if you can find a place to hear a demo, do it. You're only regret will be not getting this amp any sooner. I would recommend the 5 ch, so you can bypass your factory head unit all together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Proved itself well, considering it's new tech I have to follow up on my earlier review complaining about the user manual. Customer support jumped through hoops to get one to me, and they had very good reason for their initial delay. All is good now (Thanks guys). I was skeptical on this new tech, but couldn't judge it without trying it. After preordering it and waiting months, I was rewarded for my wait. Absolutely a wonderful all-in-one amp! True quality sound with some punch to back it. If I were to lose this vehicle, I would start over with this same exact amp. Go buy it now, you won't regret it. Just do it!!! As far as Clari-Fi is concerned, I have nothing to measure how close to 100% it recovers, but the ear tells me it's gotta be a pretty high number. It really enhances the music very nicely. Nothing "snake oil" about this amp. Some really good stuff here. If you had your doubts, let me be the guy to tell you "Just go buy it!".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Sound, Great Features I installed the GTR-7535 in a 2012 Ford Escape with base-audio and no sync-connectivity. After the upgrade, my family enjoys that anyone in the car can play music/podcasts/etc. with their mobile device. When I'm driving by myself...it sounds great at high-volume. I also upgraded the base speakers to GX862...Huge improvement in sound quality!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awsome AMP!! I just purchased and installed this amp and is working perfectly. I put it in a 2016 Subaru WRX and the reason I went for this amp and not a different one was specifically for the Clari-fi technology they put into this amp. Its amazing at how much better everything sounds. I did replace all my factory speakers with the new JBL GTO series and got a small 10" JBL sub to help with the low end and this amp just ties everything in perfectly. I wanted to keep my factory radio for now at least just because nowadays, these cars are coming from the factory with a great radio head unit that include USB connections and AUX inputs and Bluetooth; however, the way the software in these factory radios is programmed is to compress the audio more every time you turn the volume up so as to not blow the factory speakers. This amp takes care of all of that!! By the way, I wouldn't pay any attention to the person that said this amp sucked because there was no instructions on how to install this amp. If you are going to pay this much money for an amp then isn't kind of assuming you know how to work it? Or at least have it professionally installed. If you do even a little bit of research on JBL you would find that JBL has ben around since the 1940's and is the de-facto audio brand when it comes to Professional Audio. I'm talking about Huge concerts world wide. It's actually pretty impressive the way that JBL designs and tests their products.

besides the bluetooth controller, whats this amp have to offer over the club 4505. Trying to decide between the two amp but cant see much difference between the two too justify the price difference?

Asked by: nsomnia
The GTR-7535 is a Class D amplifier which means that these amplifiers generate a lot of power without drawing much current, The GTR-7535 also produces more power compared to the Club 4505 and it also has Clai-Fi, which improves highly compressed digital music files in real time, giving you a great experience listening to music while in your car. If I have a GTR-1001 paired with this can I "daisy chain" the remote turn on wire to the GTR-1001 from the GTR-7535? Would I need to run a remote turn on to the GTR-7535 since it has a power i/o on the remote? I am hoping to bypass the factory AM radio.

Can this amp power up two JBL S3-1224 ?

Asked by: Sergio12
If your are talking only about the sub channel on the GTR-7535, it will do 350 watts at 2 ohms. That's 175 watts to each sub, more than enough to drive them, as long as it is enough power for your listening taste. But if you will be using the other 4 channels of the amp to drive your other speakers, this will likely be enough power for the subs as it will be matched to the speakers.

Hi, Does this amp have a pre out for connecting to an additional amp? Thanks.

Asked by: Boseley
Hi. Yes, it has a pair of full-range line outputs that can feed another amplifier for subwoofer use, or just more speakers. Any crossover function must be in the other amplifier.

I am purchasing a pair of JBL GTO 629's and the JBL Bass Pro SL. Is the JBL Bass Pro SL compatible? If so, which GTR amp do suggest? Goin into a '32 Ford Coupe with space limits and trying to keep it stealth inside the car. Thank you!

Asked by: icunjl
If you are purchasing a pair of JBL GTO 629's and JBL Bass Pro SL, what we can recommend is our GTR-102 a 2 channel amplifier that has 150W RMS per channel @ 2 ohms. JBL Bass Pro SL has its own built-in amplifier, it will work with the amplifier that we recommended using the PRE OUT connection.

2000 sable. I'd like to bypass the current amp and use the head unit for at least radio and volume. Along with 75-100 watt speakers I haven't decided on yet. Also a pair of 10's in the trunk. Will I need to change the alternator for the GTR-7535?

Asked by: Bishop
A single amplifier like the GTR-7535 should, normally, not require you to upgrade your alternator.

I'd like to bypass my factory radio and go straight from my iphone to the amp (via the Bluetooth)... How do I control the music/call volumes? Just through the phone's volume control? Thank you

Asked by: Joe1
The GTR-7535 is a Bluetooth enabled amplifier that enables the user to stream music directly to the amp without a stereo or head unit. You can control the music/call volumes on the phone.
