The GX-A602 brings studio-quality audio to your car. With total peak power of 280 watts packaged inside a tiny footprint of just 2-1/16" (52mm) high, 8-1/8" (206mm) wide and 7 13/16" (198mm) deep, the GX-A602 is compact but mighty. Supports 2-channel full range, high pass operation or bridged mono for a subwoofer. Features include a cast-aluminum heat sink, built-in electronic crossover networks and a switchable bass boost. With almost seven decades of experience in bringing live music to life, JBL® has adapted many of our professional technologies for use in our car audio systems, transforming your road-going listening experience with new levels of power and clarity. Whether you’re looking at dramatically improving the sound of your factory installed audio system or designing a world-class competitive sound system from the chassis up, your JBL car audio retailer has everything you’re looking for. Crank up both the volume and the fidelity of your factory-installed sound system with the new GX Series amplifiers. Ranging from a compact stereo amplifier with enough power to drive the most demanding speaker systems, to the thunderous GX-A3001 with well over 400 watts of raw bass power to shake the ground, GX amplifiers cover the range at surprisingly affordable prices. There’s nothing wrong with your existing audio system that real power can’t fix, and GX series amps make adding that power easy. Setting up a sound system to fill your car takes not only great gear, but the ability to make all the components work together as an integrated whole. On board active crossovers and separate line- and speaker-level inputs make it easy to tie the new GX amps to the rest of your system, and carefully engineered Bass Boost circuits make it easy to get the sound you crave, whether you’re upgrading a factory system or building from scratch. For years, JBL’s engineers have made the gear that experts have relied on. Now, we also make gear that helps you perform like an expert.

I have a SHAKER factory 6 speaker system in Mustang 2016 Coupe. They sound normal & I would want to buy a sub for BASS. Can I hook this Up to my car speakers ?

Asked by: Tulasiram
The GX-A604 can deliver up to 85W at 4 ohms and 60W at 2 ohms. So as long as you speaker system has the same rating, it will be a great match

It will work with my subwoofer GT5 1202BR?

Asked by: jose1luis
Yes. The GX-A602 can be used with your GT5-1202BR since it drives up to 85W at 2-ohms, and the latter can handle up to 275W of power at 2-ohms. Since the GT5-1202BR is rated at 2-ohms, we do not recommend that you do a bridged connection on the GX-A602 since such connection can only handle a 4-ohm load speaker.

I have JBL's 6x9 300 watt club series and 3.5 club series in my rear deck. 6.5 component speakers in the front doors. Would this amp be good for my 6x9's?

Asked by: Biggest Dee
The GX-A602 provides 60 watts per channel at 4 ohms, and 85 watts at 2 ohms. Currently, our site shows only one 6x9 speaker from the Club series, the Club 9630 (3 ohms, 80W RMS). The GX-A602 will definitely work with the CLUB 9630.

I have a mini cooper clubman r55. Standard stereo mini boost cd. What do you think? Will the jbl make any difference?  Thanks

Asked by: Flin
Hi, We don't have any specifications on car audio for all the brands. I would suggest you contact your Mini/BMW dealer, and first find out which car stereo package you have. When you have the specifications, we may be able to help you to find replacement speakers / amplifier for your Mini. If you contact our customer service department, we will gladly assist you.
