GX-A604 is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great inexpensive amp! I'm using this amp driven by a JBL MS-8. The amp is a good step up from your typical 20W/channel systems. Very noticeable gain difference in that it plays loud and clean w/little distortion. Using 2 of 4 channels bridged for a passive sub and that works well too. Recommended.

Hello, I'll be using GTO 629 and GTO 609C on my car, will this amplifier be enough to run those speakers or you may recommend other amplifier?

Asked by: eric_gee
The GX-A604 amp has a output of 60w per channel at 4 ohms. The GTO 629 can handle 60w at 3 ohms and the GTO 609c is 90w at 3 ohms. At this rate, the GX-A604 amp will match the speakers' impedance, which will increase the power output a bit. GTR 104 which is rated 100W per channel at 4 ohms will also work for your speakers but will provide more power. End of the day, it will come down on how loud you want your speakers to play, because more power will distribute higher volume.

Can I use this GX-A604 (setting 2 Ohtm to get 85W RMS x4 channel) to powered your speaker JBL GX-600C (2.3 Ohm impedance, 70W RMS) without loosing any single drop of sound quality?

Asked by: deathsatans
Absolutely yes, it would work great. Small difference of wattage between the amp and speaker will not affect nor compromise the sound quality.

Will this amp run well with the club 6500C package, a pair of GT7-6's and a S2-1024 sub, or do I need a 5 channel amp?

Asked by: Ryan11
Unfortunately you need a 5 channel amplifier in order to use all of those speakers, the GX-A604 can power up to 4 speakers only. Hi, I'd like to gett a better sound on my 4Runner 2017, I'm planning to buy a GTO939 and a GTO629 which both says fit in the car but i just don't know what else should I buy to make them work well, can you give me an advice?

Asked by: Loren
If you are looking for improved sonic quality and a bit more volume than what your stock system is providing, the GX-A604 will be a great amp. It will provide 60 watts to each speaker, considerably more than what your stock system is doing, and it is also of higher sonic quality. The combination of the new speakers and amp will give you substantially better results than what you currently have.

Asked by: RoN RoY
Hi Thank you for your question. GX-A604 is Suitable for a JBL-1000 watts Sub-Woofer if it is connected in Bridged mode. I would also advise you to consider Club-4505 or Club-5501, Which has more effect and would be more suitable for this Sub-woofer. If you have further questions, please contact our customer help-desk.
