Will this sub be ok to use with the GXA-602 amp as my current setup distorts too quickly and therefore the amp shuts down.
Hi. Yes, this is a 4 Ohm sub, and your 602 can handle 4 Ohms in bridged operation. That does not mean that you cannot provoke the 602 into shutting down. No speaker is a perfectly linear load, and if you push the amp heavily, or it cannot cool sufficiently, you may still experience that the protection circuits shut it down. Only if you use an amplifier so powerful that you never push it to its limits, will you be certain that it will not shut down. I hope this helps.

I had installed ,CS1204B sub woofer with GT5 S422 amplifier. Is it the correct amplifier used for this 1000 watts sub woofer for the full output ?
