Strong on performance, big on flexibility.

Series II enclosures deliver the enhanced efficiency and higher output of a vented enclosure, without the distracting noise or “chuffing” generated by a port. The patented Slipstream port dramatically reduces port noise at high sound pressure levels by minimizing airflow turbulence. With high-roll surrounds, proprietary cone design and long-excursion, Series II enclosures deliver deep, powerful bass, with greater accuracy than conventional ported boxes. And the exclusive SSI™ (Smart Selectable Impedance) switch lets you choose 2- or 4-ohm impedance for maximum configuration flexibility. It’s everything you want in a compact, easily installed enclosure.

Would this sub be ok in a box that is 15ltrs in volume (sealed) and with a mounting depth of 144mm?  It lists the depth as 142mm is that going to be too tight a squeeze

Asked by: Banty139u
Hi. This should be fine. Sealed boxes are not very critical, and as you can see, 142mm is from end of magnet to front of chassis, so if you mount the woofer from the outside of the cabinet, you will have space to spare behind it. If you plan a countersunk woofer, you are close to the limit, but it should be fine.

how do i calculate the specifications from litres to mm for this sub from the manual

Asked by: raven
I assume you're referring to the Sealed and Vented box volume. If this is the case, for Sealed box volume, it would be 14158423.3 Cubic Millimeters and for Vented box volume, it would be 42475269.9 Cubic Millimeters.
