The JBL Clip 2 is an ultra-light, ultra-rugged and ultra-powerful portable speaker. Completely waterproof, the JBL Clip 2 provides 8 hours of playtime, allowing you to take your music wherever you go, be it land or water. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to connect. Fast Set-up. Truly as easy as 1-2-3. Very functional. I will add sandproof in addition to waterproof. Clip2 could you a little bit more horsepower in wattage when outside with ocean waves crashing :-)). Delivery was 1 day later than at time of order but no big deal. Delivery was fast. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

My jbl clip 2 charges for about 30 secs then the red light turns off

When the CLIP 2 is charged while Off, the LED indicator would go off indicating full charge. If this is not the case and to determine where the problem is, please try to use a different USB charging cable and plug it in at an alternate power source. I noticed that you are in the Philippines. I wad connecting my JBL Clip 2 to my projector through the built in aux and it was running well. Then suddenly the sound stopped. I removed it from the projector and connected it with my windows phone through Bluetooth but again no sound.

I’m sorry to hear about the issue you are having with the CLIP 2. Please try connecting it to a different device via AUX and pair it via Bluetooth as well. If you still do not get sound, please contact the retailer where it was purchased from. They will be able to assist.

I've had my Clip 2 for 2 wks. I'm trying to charge it but the charge light isn't on; does that mean it's fully charged? When powered on, Blue light slowly blinks.

I just had a lovely conversation with William at Tech Support. They think that "slow blinking blue light" means that the Clip 2 is searching for, and is not connected to, any device. But Memen's answer to this question raises another question which needs solving: Either the LED indicator will switch to a solid blue light when fully charged, or the LED indicator will go off indicating full charge. It should not be both. I would like this unit to let me know whether it is charged or not just by looking at it. And it would be really great if it would gauge how much charge it has (but this is probably an unreasonable expectation).

Does the clip 2 have an internal memory?  During playback in iTunes it turned off then restarted playing music I did not have in my library.  I couldn't figure where it was coming from.  Even after I shut off the Mac, it kept playing????

No, the CLIP 2 does not have an internal memory. It is highly likely that there is another device that is connected to the CLIP 2. You will need to clear the Bluetooth pairing list of the CLIP 2. Please do a reset on your CLIP 2 to try and fix your issue. While the unit is turned on, press and hold the Volume + and Phone buttons for more than two seconds. The CLIP 2 will turn off and this should reset your speaker. Pair your device to the CLIP 2 after resetting.

I noticed the speaker would turn itself off to save battery life whenever it doesn't have a signal which is great. but is there a way to keep it always on if i keep it plugged to a power supply?

Unfortunately, there is no way to turn off the power-saving feature of the CLIP 2. It will go on standby mode if it does not detect any audio signal either via Bluetooth or AUX even if it is directly plugged into a power outlet.

When i'm connected my clip 2 to PC (win.10 enterprise) the microphone doesn't work, it won't recieve any sound from clip 2 mic. But it works perfectly when i'm connected to mobile phone. Any solution for it?

It is possible that the CLIP 2 is simply not selected as the recording device. To check this, right click on the volume icon that should be present on the bottom right corner of your screen (taskbar) and follow this instructions – 1 - You'll see a menu that offers several choices: Open Volume Mixer, Playback devices, Recording devices, Sounds and Volume Control options. 2 - Select the Recording devices to open the Sound Control Panel. 3 – A window will pop-up showing all available recording devices, the CLIP 2 should be listed here. Select the CLIP 2 and click on the “Set Default” button.

I bought a clip2 today and it seemed to be working perfectly. However, after trying to charge it, it is flashing red/blue. I have tried the resets phone and vol - and every other combination but nothing works. I'd be grateful for some assistance.

What you are experiencing is not normal. Please do a reset on your CLIP 2 to try and fix your issue. While the unit is turned on, press and hold the Volume + and Phone buttons for more than two seconds. The CLIP 2 will turn off and this should reset your speaker. If this doesn't help, please submit a case request at https://uk.jbl.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to further assist you.

My Clip 2 was working fine at the first time, then I charged it without turn it off and now the blue and red LEDs are blinking alternately. No button works anymore. The audio cable also doesn't work. How can I do with it now?

I have the same problem. Bought it today for a road trip starting tomorrow but all it does is flash red and blue. Nothing works including the rest. I guess I'll just have to hope the fix Gresham suggests works. Rather disappointed and not very impressed though.
