Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous sound This is my first soundbar, but I must say I'm impressed by the difference in sound against the TVs speakers, the only thing is you need to move the sub woofer round the room to find the best position, at the end of the day it's well priced for what you get, you can spend thousands but do you need to ?

I have a pioneer dvd player model DV-373 connected to the sound bar via analog RCA cable and optical cable the analog works fine but the optical doesn't work. The dvd player transmits optical out as there is red light at the opposite end of the dvd.

Asked by: Yash Panchal
I am sorry to hear you are having this issue. Please make sure the source of the SB150 is on optical by pressing the source button multiple times until you see a white led light. If this doesn't help, try connecting a different optical source and using a different optical cable. The RED light on the Optical does not necessarily mean it is sending digital audio. Many players will not send audio out of multiple outputs. You may have to go into your DVD player settings to select the optical output as the active output. If all of these steps did not work, please submit a case at www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to further assist you.

Can I connect devices directly or do I need some sort of receiver? And Can I connect multiple devices and switch between them (e.g. leave my TV and turntable connected to it and chose which input I want)?

Asked by: hacarlos
Yes, You can directly connect your audio source device on the JBL CINEMA SB150 via optical and analog audio in. To listen to audio from the Bluetooth device, press the Bluetooth source button on the JBL CINEMA SB150 or remote to activate the source. To disconnect the Bluetooth device, press and hold the JBL CINEMA SB150’s Bluetooth button until the LED begins flashing. NOTE: • You can manually switch sources to the paired Bluetooth device by pressing the JBL CINEMA SB150’s Bluetooth button. • If you switch the JBL CINEMA SB150 to a different source while a paired Bluetooth device is streaming to the system, the JBL CINEMA SB150 will send a STOP command and the Bluetooth device will stop streaming. • While pairing the Bluetooth device for the first time, it may reset the volume level to maximum.

Dear, PC to SB150 Bluetooth not working? (lenovo/V470 laptop/OS windows, I'm all ready paired in system and shoiwing JBL Cenima SB150 in Bluetooth devices, but not showing related to this in sound/plaback & device manager? how it works?or need any driver?

Asked by: praji
It is possible that your laptop simply does not have the necessary/updated drivers to stream audio via Bluetooth. The SB150 does not require any specific drivers. It utilizes the standard Bluetooth Stereo Audio drivers available in most laptops. There are two different Bluetooth protocols, one for Headset Audio used for talking on the telephone, and the other for high quality stereo audio listening. Being that the SB150 is a speaker; your computer must connect to the SB150 using the Stereo Audio protocol. Your best bet is to go into your control panel and find the Bluetooth setup. This setup usually provides a setup wizard and will take you through the steps to install the drivers needed for Stereo Audio.

I followed the step by step to pair the subwoofer, but it did not work. Anyone have any tips, please? - Many thanks!

Asked by: Paulo_1960
Try to complete a reset on your Soundbar to see if it helps. Unplug the power cord from soundbar. While holding down the VOLUME + button, plug the power cord into the soundbar. A green LED, followed by a blue LED will light up, after which the soundbar will go into standby. The SB150 is now reset. Now try to pair the units again - 1. Make sure both the soundbar and sub are on. 2. Press the pairing button on the soundbar, quickly, once. It should start blinking quickly. 3. Press the pairing button on the subwoofer, quickly, once. It should also start blinking quickly. 4. Within roughly 10 seconds the two units should pair. If this does not work, please try it several times, and try turning off any other wireless type devices (phones, baby monitors, etc.) that might be present as they may be causing interference. I noticed that you're in Brazil. If what was suggested doesn't help, please submit a case at tecnica@harman.com and our Customer Service team will be glad to assist you.
