Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous sound This is my first soundbar, but I must say I'm impressed by the difference in sound against the TVs speakers, the only thing is you need to move the sub woofer round the room to find the best position, at the end of the day it's well priced for what you get, you can spend thousands but do you need to ?

Dear, PC to SB150 Bluetooth not working? (lenovo/V470 laptop/OS windows, I'm all ready paired in system and shoiwing JBL Cenima SB150 in Bluetooth devices, but not showing related to this in sound/plaback & device manager? how it works?or need any driver?

Asked by: praji
It is possible that your laptop simply does not have the necessary/updated drivers to stream audio via Bluetooth. The SB150 does not require any specific drivers. It utilizes the standard Bluetooth Stereo Audio drivers available in most laptops. There are two different Bluetooth protocols, one for Headset Audio used for talking on the telephone, and the other for high quality stereo audio listening. Being that the SB150 is a speaker; your computer must connect to the SB150 using the Stereo Audio protocol. Your best bet is to go into your control panel and find the Bluetooth setup. This setup usually provides a setup wizard and will take you through the steps to install the drivers needed for Stereo Audio.

I followed the step by step to pair the subwoofer, but it did not work. Anyone have any tips, please? - Many thanks!

Asked by: Paulo_1960
Try to complete a reset on your Soundbar to see if it helps. Unplug the power cord from soundbar. While holding down the VOLUME + button, plug the power cord into the soundbar. A green LED, followed by a blue LED will light up, after which the soundbar will go into standby. The SB150 is now reset. Now try to pair the units again - 1. Make sure both the soundbar and sub are on. 2. Press the pairing button on the soundbar, quickly, once. It should start blinking quickly. 3. Press the pairing button on the subwoofer, quickly, once. It should also start blinking quickly. 4. Within roughly 10 seconds the two units should pair. If this does not work, please try it several times, and try turning off any other wireless type devices (phones, baby monitors, etc.) that might be present as they may be causing interference. I noticed that you're in Brazil. If what was suggested doesn't help, please submit a case at tecnica@harman.com and our Customer Service team will be glad to assist you.

Hi, I have WiFi in home so it will affect the Bluetooth connection if i keep sub woofer away(small distance) from the sound bar?

Asked by: Urvish
Thank you for taking time in asking your question. It is possible that there will be some signal interference, between the bar and sub, if the SB150 is near your Wi-Fi modem/router. As a general rule, assure there is ample distance between the SB150 and your Wi-Fi modem/router.

at the moments,is there any firmware update for sb 150? for example, there is no difference of subwoofer sound by increase and decrease its level.subwoofer is not strong voice.

Asked by: pouyan
Unfortunately, there is no update yet for the SB150. Make sure that you are adjusting the subwoofer's volume using the remote control. You can try moving the subwoofer at a corner or near your seating location. I noticed that you are in Iran. If this does not help, please contact the store where you purchased the unit and they will be able to help.

Hi guys! Sound level is very high when I switch on my JBL sb150 and I need to press down some times always. Could I configure the sound level at start? Thanks!!

Asked by: Henry007
Hi It's not possible to set a "standard" volume. The SB150 will use the input volume which is set from the source device. So if you have the SB150 connected to a TV, you should have the volume on the TV lower, this will result in a lower volume on the SB150 when you turn this on. If you require more information, please contact us on customer.support@harman.com

JBLSB150 has paired with my Laptop Lenvo Z510 windows 10 but not playing good.disconnecting immediately.i have tried many times with updated drivers but not worth

Asked by: vintoh
One common issue with connecting Bluetooth speakers to laptops is a WiFi network interfering with it. If you are connected to WiFi, please disconnect temporarily and see if the Bluetooth connection improves with the SB150. If the Bluetooth improves without the WiFi, a possible workaround would be to change the Wireless Channel that your router is operating on. Or as an alternative, you may use a 3.5mm - 3.5mm audio cable from your laptop's headphone jack to the SB150's analog-in port. This ensures a solid connection between the devices that cannot be harmed by wireless interference.
