Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous sound This is my first soundbar, but I must say I'm impressed by the difference in sound against the TVs speakers, the only thing is you need to move the sub woofer round the room to find the best position, at the end of the day it's well priced for what you get, you can spend thousands but do you need to ?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from missing button? Good afternoon, in the manual on page 7 it says I can pair the soundbar with the remote of the tv. The manual states I need to press the sorround button on top of the soundbar to enable the programming. I found no such thing as a sorropund button on the soundbar. :(

Hello, I recently purchased the JBL SB150. In the owners manual a Surround button is mentioned, which I was not able to locate. Furthermore I would like to know how I can update the firmware for better subwoofer experience? Many thanks! EA

Hi guys! Sound level is very high when I switch on my JBL sb150 and I need to press down some times always. Could I configure the sound level at start? Thanks!!

Asked by: Henry007
Hi It's not possible to set a "standard" volume. The SB150 will use the input volume which is set from the source device. So if you have the SB150 connected to a TV, you should have the volume on the TV lower, this will result in a lower volume on the SB150 when you turn this on. If you require more information, please contact us on customer.support@harman.com

JBLSB150 has paired with my Laptop Lenvo Z510 windows 10 but not playing good.disconnecting immediately.i have tried many times with updated drivers but not worth

Asked by: vintoh
One common issue with connecting Bluetooth speakers to laptops is a WiFi network interfering with it. If you are connected to WiFi, please disconnect temporarily and see if the Bluetooth connection improves with the SB150. If the Bluetooth improves without the WiFi, a possible workaround would be to change the Wireless Channel that your router is operating on. Or as an alternative, you may use a 3.5mm - 3.5mm audio cable from your laptop's headphone jack to the SB150's analog-in port. This ensures a solid connection between the devices that cannot be harmed by wireless interference.

Hi!, How to connect the soundbar to tv and xbox? I cant seem to have the audio from my xbox. Thanks!

Asked by: KC Red
The ideal set-up for the SB150 is to have all other sources connected to the TV while the TV is the only device connected to the soundbar. Ensure that the TV is set to use external speakers and that the SB150 is on the correct source.

Can the jbl sb150 soundbar be connected to a pc via an aux cable?

Asked by: Ball
Certainly. You can run an audio cable from your PC's headphone jack to the SB150's auxiliary input. Simply make sure that the SB150 is set to the Aux Source and that the SB150 is selected as your PC's playback device.

Hi, We bought the JBL CinemaSB150 yesterday, we test to our Sony Bravia LCD tv but the audio didn't function. Our tv had only analog , no optical. Can you please help us what we can do to that? Thanks

Asked by: Marjorie
The SB150 would work with an analog connection. A RCA to analog audio cable comes with the unit which you can use. You simply need to run that cable from your TV's analog out port (red and white) and plug the other end to the SB150's AUX input. After doing so, make sure that you are using the analog source on your SB150 and that your TV is set to use external speakers.
