Fortunately, the JBL® Cinema SB400 system offers cinema-quality audio in a small space and high style. Its two-channel soundbar features four 2-1/4-inch (57-millimeter) woofers, two 1-inch (25-millimeter) tweeters, an amplifier that delivers up to 120 watts, integrated Bluetooth® technology for streaming music from digital devices, three HDMI® inputs and HARMAN Display Surround technology, which creates a 3D listening environment from only two channels. The system also includes a 200-watt, 8-inch (200-millimeter) wireless subwoofer with bass-boost control. The SB400 is everything that you can ask for in a sound system.

I bought this about 6 months ago and compared to my old sorround sound system that i had its so much cleaner and the bass is ridiculous and being bluetooth is so awsome and not having wires run through my walls and having to make holes. Its so easy to setup to your tv or even if your just using it in the garage to play misic!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from it's simply awesome My house is small and my surround system was finely giving me trouble after all these years so I needed to do something. I decided to give this soundbar and sub a try despite some not so great reviews. I started off having some issues with my wifi once I hooked everything up and realized I was running too may things on a 2.4 frequency but since I have a duel frequency router, I moved everything I could to the 5 and no more issues. The sound is crisp and clear and I have no problems with the connection to the sub but believe I would have if I kept everything on 2.4. I'm thrilled that it has Bluetooth and so many HDMI connections so I have more options. JBL has never let me down in quality and value and this soundbar is no exception. Over all, just a few adjustments for me and my world is full of ear pleasing sound and worth every bit of the effort and purchase price.

What HDMI cable do I need to connect my SB400 to my Samsung 4k UHD tv through ARC

I have the cinema SB400. It interferes with my wireless signal. They are not located near each other. I have changed channels on the router with no change. when the system is unplugged my wifi is great, when its plugged in its bad. solutions?

Sorry to hear of this problem you are having. Below are some advice and options to assist you in securing a better connection. - Switch to 5 GHz network, as Bluetooth protocol does not operate at this frequency. Therefore you will not have any issues with BT devices interrupting. - Enable "Interference Mitigation" if your router has this option/feature. Typically this is under advanced Wireless settings. - Move your router to a different location for your important connected devices. - Reset your router. After a reset, the router will scan the area for most used channels, and select one that isn't busy (same as manual switching above). The only bad thing about resetting your router is that if you have made some changes on your network, they will be lost now. - Limiting your BT/WiFi devices. Turn off BT/WiFi devices that are not used. It will result in a less noisy environment. Remember this is only a guide on how to improve connection or prevent instability. If none of the tips are working at all, either your router is defective, or the source device has a problem.

I have had my sb400 for 1.5 years now. Lately the hdmi input does not show any image. There is sound but no image displayed on the tv. HDMI from playstation 3 to soundbar and from there to tv via hdmi. No image.

I am sorry if you are having issues with the SB 400. If the connection is working before and suddenly stops, let us do this following isolation: 1. Please change HDMI cable to check if the problem is with the cable wire. 2. Try changing the ports on the SB 400 to see if the port is damaged. 3. Turn off the SB 400, TV and your playstation. First, turn on the SB 400, then, after 30 seconds, turn on the playstation as well as the TV to re-establish HDMI connection between those equipment. 4. Try connecting the source directly to your TV via HDMI connection and an optical/HDMI cable to the soundbar for audio. This is another connection that you can try to use. If this doesn’t help, please submit a ticket at www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to further assist you.

Can the JBL SB400 be mounted to a Sanus Full Motion TV wall mount with Rocketfish Sound bar bracket?

Please note that installing a third party mounting bracket will be a user's responsibility. We still prefer you to use the factory provided wall mounting kit as this designed for the said product.

hi... my sb400 tweeters stopped working and im guessing it´s either the crossover or both tweeters burned . but it´s kinda odd for both components to dis at the same time,, don´t you think???

What you are experiencing is not normal on this speaker, do you experience the same problem on all sources like BT, AUX, HDMI. To be able to check if the unit will behave normally please perform a product reset. Place the sound bar on standby, while on standby press and hold "Vol - and "Surround Mode" for 3 seconds until the unit automatically turns on, after it turns back on the unit is back to factory settings. If the issue persist please submit a case at www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to assist you.

My remote control's volume control does not work. What can I do?

First thing we have to make sure of is that there is nothing in between the remote and the SB400 that can cause interference with the IR signal your remote is sending to the soundbar and that you have fresh batteries on your remote. If the issue occurs after making sure that there is no interference and you have fresh batteries on the remote, complete a reset on the soundbar by following the steps below and retry the learning feature programming. While in In standby mode - Press "Volume-" (minus) button and "Surround mode" button simultaneously for approx 3 seconds - soundbar turns on - soundbar is reset. If the issue still persists, please submit a case at www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service team will be more than happy to further assist you.
