Under Armour Sport Wireless Heart Rate is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 52.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Comfortable! Great sound, customizable fit, outstanding Bluetooth connectivity

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features I received this a month ago, and it's changed the way I work out. It was a pain to switch out the ear buds, but it makes sense that it would because otherwise they'd be falling out or loose. Besides the initial setup, it's been fantastic!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top-Notch Product These wireless headphones are great! I've been a slave to wired phones for 18 years. This is so much better. The packaging was impressive and made the experience seem like I was getting a high-quality product. I experimented with three different sizes of the sound enhancers, finally figuring that Size 6 was the size that gave me the best fit / best sound combination. The over-ear hooks are slender and seem to disappear when worn--very nice. Sound quality is very good, certainly in the top 3 of all the earbuds I've had. They charge quickly and the battery lasts through multiple workouts, although I usually top off the battery ahead of each workout. The heart rate feature is a little sensitive. Even when I wear my iPhone 5 on my bicep, there are times when the heart rate feature won't work or won't hold the count until I can see what it says. I'm now trying a chest pouch for my phone and it seems to work better. My overall impression is 5-stars. These are keepers! Steve Underwood.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality sound with advanced technology These headphones were what my workout needed. They don't budge while skating or running and they really have a good bump to them based on what your listening to. I love the heart rate tap feature, really is convenient to check my heart rate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound quality, useful H/R monitor & app So I have been using these incredible ear buds for a full week now. I love that the app actually works; it guides you using voice feedback so you can properly adjust the fit of the ear buds so you can use the heart rate monitor function and it is fun to hear your heart rate in your ear! It also helps that the sound quality is great and loud enough when you're out running. I did receive these free to review, however, this is my honest evaluation and opinion. Of course, YMMV but I feel that these ear buds are truly functional, easy to use and easy to customize the fit since they include 3 different sizes of silicon ear pieces. I am using the size 5 which would be the smallest size and the fit is perfect for me to run at any pace without them falling out. I have always liked the JBL sound and now can have it with me while I run. The app also lists nearby bike paths and road cycling routes, so it is also useful for cycling.

i'm just wanting to khnow about, Output impedance & sensitivity parameters that there are not in specs for this product, these are important parameters. thanks

Asked by: pedram
Because this is a wireless, active headphone, they present no load to any source device. A sensitivity specification is irrelevant since they are fully active with a built in amplifier and speakers. Unfortunately, there is no specification that would present us with how much energy received from an external source is converted into audio energy, like what is used for our wired models.

Do you have to have the UA Band in order to get the heart rate reading? Also, will the heart rate work without any apps open?

Asked by: Jnwomack
No. The UA BAND is only an accessory to sync the UA HEART RATE WIRELESS to it. In order to access the UA headset’s Heart Rate feature, you need to install an app called UA RECORD.

Does it measure heart rate variability?

Asked by: My HRV
No. Our headphones do not measure the specific changes in time between the successive heart beats or (HRV). It only can detect the average beats per minute.

My HR becomes disconnected once I switch back to the "Track your Workout" screen on MapMyRun app. This happens every so often. Some runs the HR works perfectly, other times it never connects or keeps disconnecting. Any suggestions?

Asked by: HRrunner
Thanks for your patience and I apologize for any confusion this may have caused.. Each time you navigate away from the HR page in the app the headphones will say "heart rate disconnected," but as soon as you start recording a workout, the HR Headphones should say "searching for heart rate." Within a few seconds they should say "Heart Rate detected," at which point the stat "Current Heart Rate" will appear within the app on your workout screen, and your HR will be tracked for the entirety of your workout. If this cannot be prevented please submit a case at www.jbl.com/contact-support.html and our Customer Service team will be glad to further assist you.

I just bought a pair and I would like to know if there is a way to control the bass?

Asked by: Slugger85
The UNDER ARMOUR SPORT WIRELESS HEART RATE doesn't have a separate control for the bass. The volume control that is located on the three button mic is for the volume of the earphones and not specifically for the bass. You can use you music app EQ if you feel it necessary.

No Bluetooth heartrate connection from headphones using Endomondo on Windows 10 Mobile? Everything else is great. Suggestions?

Asked by: SteveS
Thanks for the suggestions! Microsoft is revising its Bluetooth capabilities in the Creators Update, due in less than a month. We'll see if that addresses the problem.
