Would the Arena 125C pair well with my JBL HLS410 bookshelf speakers?  If not what would you recommend seeing that the HLS family is discontinued (my HLS410's are great little speakers).

Asked by: jbl_fan
The HLS410's are definitely great speakers. If it will sound great with the ARENA 125C's is a matter of preference. The specifications on these speakers does not go too far from each other so we should know that it will sound right.

Just got this speaker and was wondering if I should set my center channel on my receiver to "large full range speaker" or "small"? The small setting uses my subwoofer's crossover at 80hz. The large setting sends the full frequency band to the speaker.

Asked by: kingphisher
It is okay to set the size to small since you have a subwoofer to take care of the bottom frequencies. This would then only send frequencies at 80Hz above which will not force your ARENA 125C to play the sub frequencies and work harder than it should.

I have a sony str-dh520 av receiver, and a pair of jbl es30 speakers. would the arena 125 center speaker work well in this system ? what kind of tweeter does it have?

Asked by: billy b
This center speaker will work fine with your ES30's. The center speaker works great with some Infinitive Primus front tower speakers that I have been using until I purchase the Arena 180 tower speakers when I decide to retire my current floor speakers.
