Boost TV is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 51.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb Sound for the Price I bought the JBL XTREME bluetooth speaker when it first came on the market. I was so impressed with it's sound quality that I decided on the JBL BOOST for my TV sound bar. The decision was correct for my needs, impressive sound as expected at a great price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Performance exceeds its size Bought as an Xbox sound solution for my sons bedroom monitor. Very good gaming sound, good movie sound via Xbox. Amazing Bluetooth audio via iPhone and napster, yes it's a small room but it was way better than expected. I wanted a white one and a compact one and this was about all there was on the market but has exceeded my expectations . I'd recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from JBL's marketing is 100% accurate Speakers in my old plasma tv were shot. And Boost TV (which includes the optical cable) is everything I needed for a fast connection to my cable box. JBL 's marketing is 100% accurate. If u want a plug n' play unit without the hassle of wireless programming and a good basic sound in front of your tv, this is the sound bar to purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOUD & CLEAR Improved my TV sound 100%! I like that I can use my regular remote to control it, but you have to point your remote directly at the Boost for it to respond in sync to the TV sound. Meaning, when I just press volume up on the remote pointing at the TV, the volume does increase, TV will show the volume bar increasing, ex) volume bar at say 65 while the volume is still low on the Boost. Then I lower it back all the way down and point at the Boost, press volume up again, now TV volume bar shows 8 and it's super loud. It just takes time to get used to it. Overall, very happy with my JBL Boost TV.

You asked, "Can i connect this speaker to my pc, which has a 3.5mm input, and my lg smart tv, which has optical cable input? if so can i do both at the same time?"

Asked by: Joe Cool
Hello, Thank you for your inquiry. This speaker can be connected using the aux or optical connections to the aux and optical audio output connections on any source pc, tv, etc. Both can be connected at the same time but only one source can be set to play at one time. Best Regards.

xfinity remote... went thru process of learn. On/off and volume ok, but all other remote buttons turn volume down. I have reset the boost, turned off the power, but does not 'unlearn' any of the xfinity remote buttons. Any suggestions?

Asked by: GlenD
We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the learning feature of the BOOSTTV. To ensure that we did the correct reset process, please retry by – While unit is powered on press Volume + and Surround button at the same time for 5 seconds. This should remove all programming in the BOOSTTV. After doing so, test and retry the learning procedure. If none of these work, please submit a case at JBL.com/contactus and our Customer Service Team will be glad to assist you.

If I connect a Bose Soundtouch Adapter to the Aux channel on the TV Boost and then connect another TV boost via bluetooth, so they daisy chain and have two playing together. Do you think it would be out of syn with my other Bose Soundtouch devices?

Asked by: PJJB
Hi, If you're using the AUX input on the Boost TV, you should not have any delay between the 2 Boost TV's and the Bose Soundtouch. Sadly, I cannot say this with 100% certainty, because we cannot test if the output on the Bose device has any delay itself. I would like to suggest that you give it a try, if you order your Boost TV(s) directly from our webshop, you can try it and send it/them back within 30 days, as part of our return policy If you want to know more, before you order, please send us an email on customer.support@harman.com

On the JBL Boost Tv, How does the JBL Connect work? Can you link other enabled JBL Connect Speakers to use as surround speakers?

Asked by: JStollman
The BOOST TV is a stand-alone speaker powered speaker, to be used mainly for making flat panel TV's sound much better. It can also be used for listening to music. The JBL Connect feature allows you to connect two Connect compatible units so that the same sound can come from both units. This will not and cannot provide surround sound, but can give you the same sound from two units.

How many ADDITIONAL speakers with the "JBL connect" feature can you connect to the Boost TV? I've read or heard 1,2, and any.

Asked by: ekflroida
You can connect two speakers at the same time using the JBL CONNECT Feature. The models with this feature that you can connect together are the FLIP 3, BOOST TV, CHARGE 3, XTREME and PULSE 2. As for stereo mode, it is only available if you are using same model speakers and is using the JBL CONNECT Application that is available for download in the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
