My headphones are SUPER tight on my head to the point that my ears feel sore and bruised and I have to take breaks using them to avoid headaches. Anyone else having this issue?

Asked by: SquirrelPLZ
Yes, I have the same issue.  Is there a way to make them not so tight?

I have a pair of everest 300 headphones and the audio quality on anything coming from my computer on windows 10 is terrible. through bluetooth 4 dongle. It sounds distorted, low bit rate, delayed and time stretched. There is no software update on this site

Asked by: PaulJones
RESOLVED : OK I played about with the drivers and settings more and uninstalled all the drivers that came with the Bluetooth device. The Bluetooth dongle came with a driver disc that stated it was compatible with windows 10, it turns out that the drivers were the issue. After uninstalling them and simply plugging in the dongle my playback devices showed up differently and worked perfectly. So basically this device operates in a plug and play fashion. As long as the dongle is left to install the drivers in windows 10 on its own when inserting it into a USB port then there is no issue. I now have a headset, headphones in playback and recording. The device can also power off and on and the audio works fine. So it's nothing to do with the JBL headset, it's the drivers from the Bluetooth dongle interfering with the set up. Thanks for the product, and sorry for all the waffle previously. However, hopefully this might help someone else having issues like me in the future.

My Everest 300 sounds considerably softer in volume compared to the stock earphones i got with my phone (only when connected to apple devicesboth wired and bluetooth connections). Is there a problem with my earphones?

Asked by: samus1218
Also... Impedance for lighter headphones use to be lower so it may seem louder (or better)

Is this different from the Everest ELITE 300?

Asked by: samirai9
Hi. Yes, the Elite 300 (and 700) are completely different from the Everest versions. The only similarities are the physical construction and the fact that they are wireless. Apart from that, the Elites are active noise-cancelling headphones, and they can be controlled from the My JBL Headphone app, which the "normal" Everests cannot. This permits control of frequency response via an equalizer, and gradual blending in of surrounding noise with the Awareness system, for each ear individually. Also, it permits online updating. The normal Everests feature ShareMe 2.0, where two headphones can be synchronized. The Elite models do not have this feature. Please note that only the Elite 700 is sold in Europe, out of the three models in the Elite series. The 100 and the 300 are sold in the USA. The Everests are all sold everywhere.

I can tell pair my headphones. Help!!

Asked by: Labwin
The power button is also the pairing button on the EVEREST 300. Once you have switched ON the headphones, you would need to press the power button again for about 3 seconds for the pairing mode to be initiated. If you are pairing another source device, it needs to perform a reset. To reset it, with the headphone in OFF state, press and hold the ON/OFF button for about 7 seconds. This enables the EVEREST 300 to put in pairing mode again. Search Bluetooth devices from your source source and connect to the EVEREST 300. Play music and enjoy.

Why doesn't the app work for my everest 300, It keeps saying connect headphones when they are connected. Their are so many complaints on Google play store and their still isn't a fix ??????

Asked by: jh715
The app only works for the Elite Everest 300 and 700 Series. Unfortunately, if you do not have an Elite model, the app will not work.

Hi...other people are asking this question but no real answer. Just bought these today. I plugged in the headphones to charge. At first the red light showed, then blinked out with NO light at all. Do I need to do something else or they defective?

Asked by: Cissy
Your headphones are not defective. When the red light is no longer on, that indicates that the headphones are fully charged and ready to use, thank you.
