Music was great sounding just right amount of bass on on the preset EQ but what was best was the way you could personalize your EQ. Unfortunately my set of headphones was stolen a couple of weeks ago so until next time I can purchase some again. Meaning I definitely would recommend these to fellow music fans

Could I wear these for about 2 hours and not experience discomfort? I am tired of wearing other headphones and having my ears suffer. Thanks -Michael

Comfort can vary greatly with the different ear shapes and sizes. The EVEREST ELITE 700 has ergonomic design which places emphasis on comfort.

I've had these headphones for a bit and one of the speakers on it has started producing a lot of static when the headphones are turned on. Is this defect fixable from my home or will I have to have parts replaced?

Hi, how can I pair my JBL Everest 700 and my new AVR 161 (Harman Kardon). Headphone is on pairing mode, but I have no idea what to do to pair them. Instruction manuals do not help at all. Thanks,

The AVR 161 cannot be connected to headphones wirelessly. You will need a bluetooth transmitter to connect to the headphone output in order to connect wirelessly. If you are still experiencing issues, please contact your local JBL Customer Support, thank you!

I tried to update my Everest Elite 700 firmware and the power failed during the update and now they wont start up again. Please Help

One important detail to remember when updating the Everest headphones is to use the USB cable that was included in the box. Some cables are not suitable, and may cause the headphone to freeze, refusing to respond. Or they simply do not work at all. 1. If the headphone freezes, and a foreign cable was used, customer should try the original cable, and repeat the update process. 2. If the original cable was actually used, it can still happen in a few instances that the headphone freezes. Again, repeat the update process. 3. If it is not possible to update because the headphone has become completely unresponsive, leave the headphone alone for some hours. Could be overnight. This should deplete the battery, since the frozen headphone is actually still active internally, using up current fast. 4. When the battery has run completely empty, the headphone can be connected to the computer again. 5. It will begin charging, and the upgrade can be re-started. It is unlikely that it fails a second time. It is worth noticing that you cannot damage the headphones by trying to update them with the wrong software. The HID upgrade tool for the normal Everest series will not even accept that a headphone is connected, if you try to use it on an Elite. It will keep on trying, but without result. A progress flower will keep on running, until the program is stopped. A normal Everest headphone will just cause an error message to appear saying &quot;No device connected&quot; if you try to update it with the Elite USB updater. If the headphone never becomes responsive again, please submit a case at www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and our Customer Service team will be glad to assist you.

My Elite 700 upgrade failed using iOS app. It stopped at 13.4%, and told me upgrade failed. Now the headphone can not start and using. What can I do?

tried to upgrade the firmware on my everest elite 700 and it failed. now the unit will not respond. tried the other software also and the buttons do not respond so it does not work either. can you help

Does the Everest Elite 700 model support lossless audio through Bluetooth?

The EVEREST ELITE 700 supports the most widely accepted codec, SBC. Unfortunately, it doesn't support APTX technology.

Any remedy for my right channel randomly not working? No sound. Balance settings on iPhone are correct. Everything else functions as it should. Updated firmware. I will probably swap for a new pair, having purchased a service agreement with Best Buy.

If there is no audio on your EVEREST ELITE 700's right channel when being used as a wired connection, the audio cable must be defective and needs to be replaced. If the issue is the same even when connected via Bluetooth, you might have purchased a defective unit. You may try doing an isolation by pairing it with other devices but if it does the same, you may have your unit replaced at Best Buy since you mentioned you purchased a service agreement with them.
