Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome headphones I bought my elite 700s 2 weeks ago and these things are great. I play drums for a worship team and wanted wireless headphones to use for a click track. In my research the elite headphones had the best options. With the ambiant noise I can let how much of the band I want to hear in and still hear the click track clearly. Once I got them dialed in I could listen to all types of music from metal to hip hop to classical and they all sound great. Definitely the best headphones in my opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality for the audiophile All the features you want and would expect from a high end over eat headphones. The ANC is good especially for not have an external power box. The ambient awareness is very helpful when you only partially want to shut out the world. The customizable EQ and TrueNote technology are my favorite. That customization is what the audiophiles need and into really enhances the audio experience. PS I'm not normally over ear headphone fan, but this is the first pair I've really enjoyed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost perfect I bought the white model, and i have to say, that these Headphones are just great. Beforehand i want to apologise if my english is bad, and also for the length of this review, i tried to shorten it as good as possible. First the positive points and then the negative point(s): -In my opinion, they look very nice, are cheaper than models from other companies and still they deliver a great sound. -The ANC (active-noise-cancelling) is not the best i´ve had experienced yet, but they do their job more than well enough, the biggest difference you get to feel is in the bus and train, i haven´t experienced them out yet in a plane, in a few weeks i will have a 15h-flight, lets see if there the phones will be able to make me happy. -The soundquality is so good, I have to be honest, this was until now the best soundquality i´ve experienced in bluetooth headphones. -The comfort is pretty high, specially around the ears. They almost feel like pillows (in my opinion), they do feel pretty stable and not so easy to get destroyed. -I do also loved the idea of that own headphone-app with equalizer and everything, for people who use Apple-products its good cause iPhones and iPods do not have a custom equalizer (which is also one of the reasons why i changed to sony) but i dont want to make any namedropping here. Fact is, that app is really cool and good for personal desires. Also, you are NOT forced to download this app, thats also very good. -Also a little good point is the poutch (mini-bag) for the headphones to transport them in your bags, it looks cool and is partly helpful Now to the "negative" points: -The cushion for the head after 2-3 hours hurts a bit if the headphones always stay at the same spot on the head, i need to move them around a bit so it doesnt hurt that much, so that problem can be fixed by yourself, i do think that comes from the weight of the headphones, not so sure... -Another more or less negative point is, that the ear-pads do get wrinkled (im not so sure if thats the right word for describing it) easily when you fold the headphones, because the get pressed hard together, when in that poutch they deliver with the phones. All-in-all, its a very good choice to buy these headphones (in my opinion) cause they are really worth the price. They are able to compete with headphones from other companies that cost 350+ Euros/Dollars, cause you really got everything you need there

my jbl elite 700 does nether react on Setting off / nor on rest. The light stays on nothing happens

Asked by: Frank23
Please make sure that when turning the EVEREST ELITE 700 "on", you do not press and hold the power button for more than 7 seconds since this resets the EVEREST's Bluetooth pairing. Also, if it’s still not responding try pairing it to a different source by resetting the Bluetooth pairing list. I noticed that you are in Germany. If you are still having issues, please contact the store where you purchased it from and they will be able to assist you.

When on a phone call, if I stop talking for a few minutes the headphones appear to mute me (the other person can no longer hear me). I have tried muting and un-muting on my phone, but that does not work. Is there an unmute function on headphones?

Asked by: rselle
I am sorry to hear that you are having issue with your EVEREST ELITE 700. If this happens to all phone calls you received then, you may try performing reset on your EVEREST ELITE 700. With the headphone in OFF state, press and hold the ON/OFF button for about 7 seconds for the Everest, 16 seconds for the Everest ELITE models. (ELITE changes to 7 seconds as well from software 0.5.6). Bluetooth memory is now erased, and new pairings can be made. When you are using the headset, make sure only one device is connected to it and all other sources have their BY turned OFF. If this doesn't help, please submit a case at www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and our Customer Service Team will be more than happy to assist you.
