Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic surround sound from such a small speaker Just installed this today in my den, which has a flat screen to linked to sky Q, it took a matter of minutes, and what a transformation, it sounds nearly as good as my surround system. What an excellent speaker for such a low price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Flat Screens have have very low sound. This speaker fixes that problem. I have it right in front of the TV and works great. Love that I just have to use my TV remote and it automatically turns on/off the speaker (once activated). Love that I can also link it to my Charge 3 (which I usually put it behind me, so makes it feel like a surround sound system). Linking it with my Charge also allows me to have music inside and outside during a party. I keep the Boost TV in the house and then I take the Charge 3 outside keeping the same music. Love JBL.

If I connect a Bose Soundtouch Adapter to the Aux channel on the TV Boost and then connect another TV boost via bluetooth, so they daisy chain and have two playing together. Do you think it would be out of syn with my other Bose Soundtouch devices?

Hi, If you're using the AUX input on the Boost TV, you should not have any delay between the 2 Boost TV's and the Bose Soundtouch. Sadly, I cannot say this with 100% certainty, because we cannot test if the output on the Bose device has any delay itself. I would like to suggest that you give it a try, if you order your Boost TV(s) directly from our webshop, you can try it and send it/them back within 30 days, as part of our return policy If you want to know more, before you order, please send us an email on customer.support@harman.com

Why is the speech out of sync with the tv?

I have boost tv and play Pandora from my tv via an optical cable. Can I add another speaker like a flip 3 and have the music come thru there at the same time ?

Yes, you can connect the FLIP 3 or any connect enabled speaker using the BOOST TV's connect feature by pressing the JBL Connect button. Although both speakers can sync via JBL Connect, the Boost TV cannot send music to the Flip 3 via optical (BT only).

I have attached the audio in/out cables but don't get sound. What am I mission?

There are a few things to check to make sure that you will get audio in your BOOSTTV - 1 - Ensure that the cable you are using are snugly connected on both ends. 2 - That the TV is set to use external speakers. Most of the time, this can be accessed through Audio/Speaker Settings on your TV's Menu.

Dear friends,   Is it possible to connect both a tv and a cd player on the jbl boost tv rear? Using the optical input on tv and the Aux on the external cd player. Obviously not using both at the same time. I intend to listen to my cds while tv is off.

Yes, this is possible. But since the BOOSTTV's optical and aux input works as an alternative to each other, in order to make this work, you should turn off the other device to make the other work.

xfinity remote... went thru process of learn. On/off and volume ok, but all other remote buttons turn volume down. I have reset the boost, turned off the power, but does not 'unlearn' any of the xfinity remote buttons. Any suggestions?

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the learning feature of the BOOSTTV. To ensure that we did the correct reset process, please retry by – While unit is powered on press Volume + and Surround button at the same time for 5 seconds. This should remove all programming in the BOOSTTV. After doing so, test and retry the learning procedure. If none of these work, please submit a case at JBL.com/contactus and our Customer Service Team will be glad to assist you.

If my speaker turns off after a few seconds, will an update fix this or is there a different way of fixing this problem? If an update is the best way, where is the HID software tool that you are supposed to use?

A software update would not fix such issue with the BOOSTTV. There are no updates released by this model. If you are having this issue with this unit, please submit a case at jbl.com/contactus and our Customer Service Team will be glad to assist you.

Even after performing a reset holding down the surround and + buttons until all the lights come on, the jbl remembers all the commands on the remote I gave it previously. How do I reset it so no learned things are left please?

What you are experiencing is not normal. If you have performed a reset with the power on, this should un-program the remote. Try to unplug and re-plug the BOOST TV and perform another reset. I noticed that you are in Italy. If this doesn't help, please contact the store where you purchased it and they will be able to help, or at least guide you to the people that can help.
