Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why does it keep making a popping sound when Im playing music

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific sound at this price! We've had this for almost a year now. We got it so we could get rid of some bedroom furniture and wall-mount it with our TV in our bedroom. It puts out terrific, clear audio for such an entry-level soundbar. We crank it up quite a bit and it almost sounds better at higher volumes. BT is easy to connect and never has any issues. I might have gone with a higher model, but we didn't want a soundbar that was wider than our TV. We have a 40" Samsung and it is sized perfectly. We do, very occasionally, hear a loud 'pop' from the sub like someone else mentioned, but I've always attributed it to the sub's location. We have a platform-style bed in our bed room and the sub is under it in the corner closest to the TV and soundbar. The sub is not inhibited at all by its placement. It may even help with the sound. No real complaints. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome product, used this in our new RV! Awesome product, used this in our new RV! The wireless sub really rocks the Grand Design 5th Wheel. Watched Game of Thrones and was not expecting the awesome sound from this small sound bar and small sub but wow. Very impressed with the quality of the unit and how it pairs easy with sub and pairs with the Furrion unit in the RV.

I would like to use my current direct tv remote to control the sound on my sound bar.  How can I do that?

Asked by: Matlock77
Press and hold the surround button on the SB250, until the system enter "learning mode"(the LED will blink orange). VOLUME + : Press 'Volume +' on the SB250and then press 'Volume +' on the TV remote control. VOLUME − : Press 'Volume –' on the SB250and then press 'Volume –' on the TV remote control. MUTE: Press 'Volume +' and 'Volume –' together on the SB250 and then press 'Mute' on the TV remote control. POWER: Power ON your SB250 by pressing the 'Power' key on the SB250 and then pressing the 'Power' key on the TV remote control. Note: After each TV IR code is programmed, the blinking orange LED will turn white for 1 second. The SB250 is ready to learn the next key after the white LED disappears and the orange LED begins to blink. Press and hold the top panel 'Surround' key again to exit learning mode (the orange LED will stop blinking).

My subwoofer drops the pair with the sound bar. How do I fix this? JBL cinematic sb250

Asked by: Kdnydnr
What you are experiencing is not normal. Try to complete a reset on your Soundbar to see if it helps. 1. Switch the SB 250 ON. 2. Press and hold the Surround and Volume (–) buttons simultaneously for about 3-4 seconds, then let go. The Source selection Button flashes amber, followed by the power button and source buttons flashing several times. 3. The soundbar is now reset. Now try to pair the units again 1. Make sure both the soundbar and sub are on. 2. Press the pairing button on the soundbar, quickly, once. It should start blinking quickly. 3. Press the pairing button on the subwoofer, quickly, once. It should also start blinking quickly. 4. Within roughly 10 seconds the two units should pair. If this does not work, please try it several times, and try turning off any other wireless type devices (phones, baby monitors, etc.) that might be present as they may be causing interference. If what was suggested did not help, please submit a case at jbl.com/contactus and our Customer Service team will be glad to assist you.

how do i get the optical cord to work? its plugged in and still nothing.

Asked by: bklepsky
The only thing left to do after plugging in the cable to the SB250's optical in is to ensure that your TV is set to use external speakers and that the correct source is selected. Press the source button on the AVR or the Optical button on your remote. An amber light would show on the source button as an indicator that you are using the optical source.

When putting the soundbar in remote learning mode, the only button that it will respond to from my Samsung KS-8500 TV remote it the power button. It does not respond when I press the Volume Up, Down or Mute (or any other button besides the Power button).

Asked by: Beto
When using the Remote learning feature of the SB250 and is on the step where you would need to press the button on the TV remote, please make sure that the blinking orange LED will turn white for 1 second. The soundbar is ready to learn the next key after the white LED disappears and the orange LED begins to blink.

When I connect to JBL soundbar from smart phone and tablet .I lower the volume and the sounds cuts in and out. I seems to cut in and out more often when I listen to music with more bass. How do I fix this ?

Asked by: Manny J
This can be caused by wireless interference between the SB250 and your phone/tablet. Lower volumes send weaker signals to the soundbar, thus, can easily be interfered by other wireless devices. Another possible cause is the distance between your source device and the SB250, please understand that the farther the devices are, the more it is prone to signal interruptions. If we’ve already eliminated those and you are still having issues, please submit a case at JBL.com/contactus and our Customer Service Team will be glad to assist you.

I brought this today, the sound experience is amazing, however I have one issue with this, I am not able to seach this in laptop blutooth search not even from my moto g3 phone, it is searchable only from my wifes phone, please help

Asked by: mukund
What you are experiencing may be resolved by simply placing the SB250 in pairing mode. To do this, simply press the Bluetooth button on the soundbar and press and hold the Bluetooth button again. This will force the SB250 into pairing mode and will now allow you to detect it using your other devices.
