Help me chooseSmart speaker:
What is it and how does it work?
A smart speaker is a speaker that not only produces sound but is also equipped with a built-in smart assistant and one or more microphones to record sound. You communicate with the speaker by giving the speaker voice commands which it then instantly does. A smart speaker makes your life easier and more fun!
How does a smart home speaker work?
You control the smart speaker by using voice commands. Everything you normally look up on your smartphone or tablet, you can easily let your smart speaker search for and read out. Let your speaker read the news while you pour a cup of coffee in the morning or simply let your speaker know what needs to be on the shopping list. But also manage your music, set the alarm for tomorrow morning or find the weather forecast for next week. You can now do all of this with your smart speaker!
Control other smart devices
In addition, your JBL smart speaker works closely with other smart devices in your home, if they are connected to the same network. This way, you can use the smart speaker to dim your lights, turn the heating up or down, control your TV or start the coffee machine.
Setting up your smart speaker is easy for both Android and iOS and goes through the Google Home application on your phone or tablet.
Voice-activated: Google Assistant
The smart speakers of JBL make use of Google Assistant. You ask the assistant questions and can give the most diverse voice commands. No need to get up or find your phone. Just say 'Hey Google' and it will listen up and do as you ask.
