Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than expected! Really nice speaker. Sounds great Feels great. Battery life so far is insane I have been using it for 2 days nearly nonstop at between 50%-80% and it hasn't died yet ( might be different for some people but for me its insane ) Extremely cheap price for a great speaker will be buying more JBL items.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Real improvement on JBL Go This little device is a marked improvement on the original go speaker. I think the edition of a passive radiator has really helped the bass. If you want something that is ultra portable and has a nice sound look no further. Well done JBL!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very small and ok sound. This is a very small and inexpensive speaker that works well for me at the office where I don’t need anything too powerful. The sound is ok and the bass is reallly nonexistent but for a speaker of this size, I guess you can’t expect much more. For the price it is a decent little speaker but be realistic about the sound you expect from it.

Can this be used as an external speakerphone for phone calls using a Samsung Galaxy?

Asked by: FastEddie
Only if you use the phone (answering or making a call) within around 10 minutes of having it connected to your phone. Otherwise it auto shuts itself down after around 10 minutes, even if you have it plugged into an external power source, a serious design flaw. This in my opinion renders this speaker pretty useless as a speakerphone.

Does jbl go 2 have a better bass and sound quality than the old go? Is the go 2 better than the go?

Asked by: Rith8880
Hi, Thank you for your question. The sound performance has been improved compared to the first edition. You will get much more fuller and deeper sound with the new model. In addition, the JBL Go 2 has passive bass radiators where the old one had a bass reflex tube (less bass performance).
