The LED indicator light on our JBL Flip 6 is a design feature of the speaker. This feature cannot be disabled.

Our JBL Flip 6 has up to 12 hours of battery life. This may vary depending on volume and music content. If the speaker doesn't meet the advertised playtime hours even at low to mid-volume levels, there could be a problem with the battery of the unit. Our JBL Flip 6's Bluetooth range is up to 10m or about 32ft. To ensure a stable connection from the source device, it's recommended that there's a clear line of sight between the connected devices.

Our JBL Flip 6 doesn't have a built-in AM/FM radio. You can listen to the radio through your source device being connected to it via Bluetooth.

While the JBL Flip 6 and JBL Charge 5 can link together via the JBL Partyboost feature, the stereo mode on the JBL Portable App can only be enabled when the two speakers of the same model are connected. The stereo mode will not be achieved when two speakers are connected.

If you're using any equalizer or sound enhancer, please turn it off to ensure that raw sounds are playing from the speaker. Check if the muffled sound occurs when the speaker is connected to a different device and if a different song is played from the source. Our JBL Flip 6 is a portable Bluetooth speaker, it does not have a receiver to get radio frequencies. It must be connected to a source device via Bluetooth.

Our JBL Flip 6 doesn't have a WiFi feature. The Bluetooth range for this product is 10–15 meters without interference, including walls, other objects, and other wireless connections.

Although our JBL Flip 6 has an output power of 30W RMS, a typical boat engine noise could be louder than the speaker. The engine noise may interfere with or outpower the sounds produced by the JBL Flip 6.
