Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use and looks great! I've been looking for an easy to use and aesthetically pleasing wireless speaker for some time now, and with the JBL Playlist I think I've found the one! I've had it just over a month th and never had any problems connecting, playing or linking any of my devices. The sound is great, inside or out and fills the entire space! The only thing that could improve this, would by to make this wireless and not have to be plugged into the mains power. If you're looking for a well priced, decent audio speaker which looks great, then look no further!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great wireless speaker for the money. JBL Playlist I wanted to experience the JBL Playlist because I was looking for a wireless speaker to listen to music on Spotify, and this one had both Bluetooth and wifi connection as well as the audio jack. I have had JBL car speakers a number of years ago before kids, when you could listen to music as loud as you wanted and was always impressed with the quality of sound. When I opened the box i was pleased with the look and colour of the unit. It has an uncovered subwoofer to the rear (which took me a little by surprise). I have used it for a number of garden parties which it performed great with a rich sound and a good bass. It was plenty loud enough to annoy the neighbours. I found it easy to connect via wifi and Bluetooth at home but had a bit of trouble connecting to another wifi connection especially when I had to unplug it to move it outside. Overall I am am really pleased with this speaker and would definitely recommend it to my family and friends who are looking for a mid priced wireless speaker.

[PROBLEM] I have sound delay issue. When JBL Playlist is connected via Bluetooth or WIFI there is a 0,5 to 1 second lag. It's very annoying while watching movies on YouTube. How to fix it?

Asked by: mikepoland
The JBL PLAYLIST is mainly designed for audio playback so using Bluetooth connection from the speaker to the TV will encounter this Lip-Sync issue. It is because the Video and Audio playback of the TV takes time to be process via Bluetooth going to the speaker. However, if you will be using wired connection via an Auxiliary cable, this will reduce the process of Audio Playback and it will resolve the Lip-Sync delay issue.

If using the Aux input for sound (e.g., from TV/projecter home theater setup), will the aux audio input be able to be casted to other connected chromecast audio speakers for a multi-room/surround sound effect?

Asked by: djptheman
Regardless, if it's Aux or Bluetooth, The JBL PLAYLIST does not cast to other devices.

Hi I play my music from, in order, a) Amazon Prime b) iTunes c) YouTube. Is it worth me getting this speaker? Best,

Asked by: BMLondon
Hi, The JBL Playlist has Chromecast Audio built-in- So basically every streaming audio service that supports Chromecast can be used with the JBL Playlist. This includes Amazon Prime Music. iTunes and Youtube do not support Chromecast Audio, so if you want to stream audio from these sources, you will need to connect to the JBL Playlist by Bluetooth. If you require further information, please send us an email on customer.support@harman.com

Hi there, Is it possible to cast sound of the movies or tv shows from notebook to JBL playlist? or it works just on chromecast and others music apps. Thanks for the answer.

Asked by: MartinT
You can cast any audio from your Chrome browser. -Go to the top right corner of your Chrome browser(3 dots icon). -Select "cast". -Find the speaker you want to Cast to. -Adjust volume directly to the speaker. You can send any audio via the browser to the speaker directly by doing this procedure. Please note, that when using YouTube or any other video source. Sound and Image might not be synced together. We would advice to use cable connection for that purpose.
