Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these, better than my Everest 700’s I’ve owned these puppies for three days and they’re great. No, excellent. I paid $100 for my pair and if you look around, you can too. But even at $200, I think they’re very good. They are most certainly louder than any ear buds or headphones I own. I’m currently listening on my iPhone 7+. J’s 99 Problems and now Weezer’s Say it Ain’t So are as loud and clear at half volume as most of my others, including my Everest 700’s. To my ears, they sound as good as one could want coming from a compressed digital source. I’m hearing things I’ve not heard in songs I’ve listened to 100’s to 1000’s of times. That’s really cool. I’ll have to try them connected to my stereo to see how they really hang. That being said, for listening on an iphone, iPad, or whatever digital player you can play music on, these are really nice. Lastly, they cover my full ear and that makes them pretty comfortable. If they touch my ears, they do get uncomfortable so I have to adjust every now and then. Could be because they’re new, or it’s the design. If they don’t cover your ears, you may want to think about them for a moment. Unless you find Quincy’s voice soothing, then don’t worry about it. I’d love to hear him say something like, “dude, that song sucked” or “when we recorded this...”. But I’ll take “power on” for now. One last awesome thing, the on/off switch is actually a switch and not a weird soft crowded dual purpose button. As my only pair to feature that simple idea, I have to say it’s dang awesome. Bag is top notch too. A little awkward, but really nice.

Does this offer better sound quality then the standard E55BT or is the difference the design and endorsement by Quincy Jones

Asked by: Walker69
Hi Thanks for reaching out to us. "Better" sound is very relative and personal. The E55BT Quincy Edition's sound design ( tuning ) is done in collaboration with Quincy Jones, and it sounds different than the standard E55BT. You would have to try it for yourself to hear the difference. We have 30 days return right on our website, so you could even order both, and contact our customer support when you're ready to return the one you don't wish to keep, within those 30 days

How long is the bluetooth audio range? I use bluetooth headphones for my pc and if I go to the other side of my room it starts lagging the sound and eventually disconnects.

Asked by: mmc3433
The Bluetooth range varies.  Under normal circumstances, you can expect a range of 10 meters with no problems.  More than that, the signal will get unstable.  Bluetooth can also be heavily influenced by surrounding environment depending on what other signals you have at your place that could interrupt and wall material between speakers. If there is no obstruction between the speakers and you are still experiencing this issue, please submit a case at https://www.jbl.com/support-contact.html and our Customer Service team will be glad to further assist you.

When I plug my headphones In to charge. It just repeats "powering on" over and over without actually charging. I don't understand why it won't charge.
