Rated 5 out of 5 by from JBL E55BT I bought these blue headphones about 2 weeks ago and let me tell you that I was not disappointed. The highs, the lows, just enough bass and treble. Great sounding no matter what kind of music is playing. I went from bad meets evil with some great sounding bass into some koffin kats and their popping snare drum and stand up bass line , to some dizzy Gillespie trumpet and they all sounded awesome. 5 stars

Rated 5 out of 5 by from use with cochlear implant and very much appreciate the clarity of sounds. music is finally discernible from chaos! over ear makes this usable , better than any other method. freq response seems adequate, but not really wide band due to implant restriction!! NOT HEADPHONES!!!.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent sound quality and price I got this on sale, I have been using them in the office ... 6 months no complaints. The material seems fragile but they are not ... They have better sound than Everest 700 and they cost much less. The bass is intense and they insolate very decent the sound ( keep in mind they are no NC)

Hi I just bought E55BT and it does not connect to my apple watch Series 2 It says " Make sure jbl is turned on, in range, and is ready to pair " . All are done but still doesn't work. Does anyone know how should I connect it ? Thanks

Asked by: Khashayar
The JBL E55BT should be able to connect directly to your Apple Watch to play music. To do this – 1 - Put your headphones in Discovery mode. While the JBL E55BT is on, press and hold the Bluetooth button for more than 10 seconds. The light indicator should start flashing blue. The JBL E55BT is now on pairing mode. 2 - Open the Settings app on Apple Watch. 3 - Tap Bluetooth. 4 - Select the JBL E55BT. The apple watch is an extension of the iPhone. If the primary audio content is coming from the phone, the watch and headset will only work if they are within a certain distance of the iPhone. If you are having issues with this, please submit a case at jbl.com/contactus and our Customer Service Team will be glad to assist you.

I just got this headset. I'm charging them via my desktop but when I slide the "on" switch, the headphones won't turn on. They work with the audio cable connected. Without the cable the on switch doesn't work and there's no blue light.

Asked by: ShibaMom
Are you charging at the same time you try to turn on the headphones? It's not possible to turn the headphone on, probably to protect the battery. It's normal behaviour. It will even automatically turn off when you plug in the USB-charging cable.

Is the mic built-in to the ear cups or is it seperate and needs to be attached? I would like to use these  to teach online with and am wondering how well the microphone works in comparison to a permanent built-in microphone?

Asked by: Lindalou
Yes, the E55BT has a built-in microphone that you can use for phone calls via Bluetooth connection. In wired mode, the bundled cable has also a microphone so you can use it for hands-free calls.
