JBL Endurance PEAK is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good but... Very good sound & comfortable to wear but it’s very easy to inadvertently pause or fast forward songs when adjusting volume whilst running.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for everyday use and workouts! These truly wireless earbuds are truly amazing. They come inside a charging pack case which is great for portability. It fit into my ears with no problem and the sound quality was great, except it had a little static noise to it which I managed to fix by changing the EQ on my phone. The actual pieces never fell out of my ear once-even after miles of bumpy mountain bike riding and jogging. They have incredible features like no other truly wireless earbuds do. Would definitely recommend to anyone who does big workouts or heavy duty training. That's the main purpose I use them for. Although they're #1 in training and workout, they do look a little bulky and look a little like hearing aids in your ear. So I wouldn't do it for looks, but other than that con, they're ridiculously good for workouts and sound quality!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent totally wireless workout buds! The JBL Endurance Peak are a well executed package. They come tightly packed in a magnetic package with the buds, the charging case, 3 sizes of ear tips, a short micro USB cord, and the usual paperwork. The buds stand out right away, especially in the red color I have. They are completely wireless! The right side is the master and must be used all the time. It has the mic and the controls. The left can be worn for stereo or not at all and the right may function alone as mono. It’s too bad you can’t alternate the master bud to extend battery life, but it’s understandable. Immediately when the buds are removed from the case for the first time, they enter pairing mode. (Giving off the familiar JBL chime). They paired quickly to an iPhone XS. I put them in my ear using the locking method shown in the booklet. Starting forward and turning towards the back and placing the hook behind my ear. They sealed to my ear right away. At first I felt them to be a little bit tight, but then I got used to them and adjusted the position to relieve the pressure. They sounds excellent!!! The sound profile is very balanced with a very slightly lean toward the lows. This is accomplished by the right seal with the ear. Without this, the bass wouldn’t hit the way it does. They are not actively noise cancelling, but that seal might as well make them noise cancelling. The passive noise cancellation is one of the best I’ve heard. I listened to a variety of music from my workout play list. Older metal is punchy and fast. The JBL keep up without fatigue. Some rap and hip hop tracks that I tried hit with accurate bass and crystal clear vocals. Some cheaper phones get muddy with the bass, but these remained true. I wouldn’t say they’re the most bass you can get, but for this style of ear bud, they’re excellent. I through on a few mellow acoustic tracks just for fun. Again, JBL signature sounds was true and accurate with a warm sound. Looks are objective, but for a sport true wireless at this price, they are very good. They don’t feel heavy and I quickly forgot they were on once I got moving. They also never lost their seal! That’s locking hook actually works. They hold a 4 hour charge and I never ran them out during single use. Once they’re back in the case, they charge back up. The case offers 24 extra hours of battery. This is more than enough for me to work out a full week between charging. Maybe 2 weeks. The case isn’t too big, about the size of 2 decks of cards together. Overall, I’d say JBL has a hit with these for someone wanting a running or workout earphone that’s true wireless. Only con was they don’t include an actual charger, but I just used the one from an iPad. Can’t wait to see what JBL comes up with next!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent quality It has great sound quality but not so easy to use. Phone calls are heard from the master earphone but not the slave.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth The Wait Totally wireless earbuds are the newest headphone design change in years. Wire Free at the gym, the pool, the boardwalk ,at home and more. The benefit here is nothing to tangle with and pure audio blissful freedom. The JBL Endurance Peak provide all that and more! Lets point out a few things first. The estimated usage charge lasts for 4-5 hours, but, the charged external battery box supplies up to 24 hours more. Just keep it charged up with the include micro USB cable and any compatible wall adapter. The fit. When you open the charging box, you are greeted with a great "sport" designed set of earbuds. Take them out and place right or left earbud in the ear canal first, then hook over ear. This provides amazing wearability with no chance for them falling out. Do the same for the other ear. A great feature is the "auto on" feature when you first wear them! No need to search for power buttons. They power up automatically when placed in the ears. Both left and right have this feature. After the earbuds are set up and bluetooth synced to your Android or Apple device, its all go from there! Choose your favorite tunes, Spotify, Pandora, Google Play Music, Apple Music or your own music collection. The right earbud has touch controls for the ultimate totally wire free experience, Pause, play, skip forward, skip back and also volume up and down. The first thing I noticed after wearing them for the first time was just how comfortable they are. The JBL Endurance PEAK also have incredible build quality with a rubberized coating making them truly waterproof up to 20 meters for 30 minutes (just don't try to listen underwater!). There is a terrific seal created by the ear buds fitment. It creates real passive noise cancellation, isolation. What really makes these shine and turn it up a notch is....THE SOUND QUALITY! Treble is rich and never too overstated, just very accurate. You can hear the actual artist lyrics clearly. The mid-range boost up the center with a seamless performance that feel natural and lively with excellent separation providing a wide sound stage. Then there is the bass, and is it ever! The bass is punchy and full. You don't just hear the bass, you really feel it! All of this providing a great listening experience for truly wireless sport earbuds. I know when I'm at the gym, the beach or anywhere for that matter, I want "fumble free" performance. The JBL Endurance PEAK give me that wireless freedom with the muscle to back it up...that sound. They never once were uncomfortable and never felt the need to keep reinserting the buds. They stay there where you put them and that's very important! So to sum up...here's what you get.... Very reasonably priced, about $130 US Dollars, 2nd generation wireless ear buds in three cool colors. I have the red ones. Build quality unmatched to any other I've ever tried. I've tried about 9 or 10. This is where form meets function. The auto on/off and touch controls work seamlessly. The sound quality makes me want to wear them all the time! Work out harder, walk further, listen longer. When all is said and done, the compact charging case handles the next beat. The four white LEDs on the charge box show available charge time. The buds just fit in to the box with little magnets (invisible) and light up with a blue LEDs on the left and right earpieces. I have been using the JBL Endurance PEAK every day since. A smile on my face perpetually plastered as the music plays on and on. The realization comes to me that we finally have a winner in the truly wireless ear bud arena, the JBL Endurance PEAK!!!

Hi, are these noise isolating or do they let ambient noise in? I hope they are isolating!

Asked by: NeilW
Hi, The JBL Endurance Peak have no active noise cancelling or filtering. Which means that, if the eartips fit well, and close off your ear channel, they will of course block some noise, but this is passive.

Does Bluetooth work underwater ?

Asked by: achilles71
The JBL Endurance Peak only works above water, Since signals are hard to get through under water, and the IPX7 rating is made to match the other Endurance series mainly for a stronger sweat resistant headphones. You will need to use the JBL Endurance Dive since it has a built-in MP3 player and a lock feature that will let you play MP3 music underwater without worries.

Hello JBL staff, My headphones turn off after 5 minutes if there is no sound coming through from my phone. Are they supposed to do it? Is there a way to wake them up without touching them, I have trouble doing that because of a disability.
