are these compatible as a rear bluetooth pair for surround sound on a JBL 3.1?

Asked by: JCG831
No, this is not compatible with the JBL Bar 3.1 as a rear speaker, since the JBL Bar 3.1 system does not have a provision to have any additional speakers to be added to it as additional channels or satellite speakers, may it be wired or wireless.

Would it be possible to pair the speakers with the JBL link series? They both have Chromecast, so in theory they should be able to pair, right? Just looking for confirmation on this :-)

Asked by: RustyGold
Yes, you can set up the JBL Link series and the Control Xstream in the same group in the Google home application. You can then designate to cast the music to the Control Xstream speakers using the voice assistant Link.

Which speakers are more powerful - the JBL XSTREAM or the JBL Control X Wireless?

Asked by: Steve M
Hi! Both are the same in terms of audio power. The main difference would be the feature each speaker has. The Control XStream has Wifi capablity which allows you to use Spotify Connect and works with Google Assistant devices. Whilt the Control X is a plain Bluetooth speaker.
