Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple all in one device for Netflix and Assistant I mainly use it for streaming my Netflix or YouTube TV content to my TV. The Google Assistant is a nice adder, since I can now use my other JBL Link speaker in a different room. The HDMI ARC support is helpful when I want to use the TV tuner and use the soundbar audio. I have use the Cast feature once so far to send my photos to the TV to show family my recent trip. Nice all around device.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I needed I had been waiting to purchase this since it was originally demonstrated at CES. It has allowed me to consolidate my Google home, Android TV, and speaker system into one device, making my entertainment center much cleaner. Also, because it handles my other HDMI inputs, I can use its remote exclusively (since my TV turns on automatically when a source of detected). Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic...Better than expected It arrived today. Setup was easy. Only took a few minutes to have it running. The sound is amazing for the size. I was considering the subwoofer but not sure I need it now. This fills my living room with great sound. All audio ranges are well balanced with dialogue not overpowered. No more closed captions! The look is minimal and fits great under my TV. Streaming is fast. Android TV works great. Only thing missing is Amazon Prime Video. I'd buy this again tomorrow and recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality soundbar. Is it the best? No, but for $400 there are not many better, if any.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reasonably impressed, does need more bass Loads of features, no installation manual but easy to set up once you get going. Sound is good but I'm replacing a Samsung soundbar with a sub so do notice the difference. Is soundbar available for UK buyer's? This will be decisive in my decision on whether I keep it or return as I like/need bass?

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product at an okay price Bought this the day it came ou. I have used a little bit, Google home integration is okay. as others have mentioned on the JBL home review page in question answers most of the bugs have been listed their time will tell if JBL decides to make it right after a year-and-a-half delay and fix these issues such as creating a speaker group and the slow response time of the Google home responses and the 4-8 second lag between the response and resuming playing music Android TV integration is so so. Chromecast works as expected.

Can this speaker be added to Google home speaker groups? As in, I can pair it with all of my other Google speaker devices in the home app?

Asked by: ChrisGH
Thanks for your inquiry. At this time, JBL and Google are working diligently on a software update to allow the Link Bar to connect to other Google Home speakers. We will keep you posted on our progress and should have the update available to our customers shortly, thank you!

2 Questions, is the ethernet port a gigabit port (10/100/1000) or 10/100 and 2nd. What's the internal storage capacity and is there the ability to expand that storage with sdcards?

Asked by: Sharky
To the second question, about 4GB, and no expandable storage at all (no SD or USB ports).

What voice command can I use with the built-in Google Assistant to make the Link Bar change which HDMI source is active? Really hoping to not have to use the remote just to change source.

Asked by: JamesM
You can use your voice to change sources, but annoyingly you can't rename the name of the sources. I was expecting to be able to say "switch to sky tv", but you can't do that without setting up a routine in your Google assistant app (which is a bit hit and miss). Often, when I try to get it to change sources, it does a YouTube search that results with tutorial videos about how to change an HDMI cable on your TV!!!
