Hard to believe the sound that comes out of such a small unit, the Google function assistant works really good really nice to have in the home. I have mine set up in our family room and it's a wonderful addition to the house for all kinds of different Google functions the mic works really well picking up your voice too! I really think JBL outdid themselves on this one this is a must-have for any one who loves wireless audio and JBL products paired with Google is just an added bonus. Only problem is it work so good with the Google Assistant I want one for every room in my house lol

I received the Jbl Link 300 as a review and enjoy it during all the holidays with all my family members and we're amazed how I did the magic of just saying OK goggle and we were just entertained by casting any family movie to my TV.it Just a perfect and most susprising is all in one casting OK Google and great sound speaker just controlling the volume with just saying it, incredible sound a great speaker got a lot of compliments everybody was amazed. Love to be hands free.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tati123 from Fantastic Price for Great Sound I bought the JBL Link 300 after narrowing my choice to four speakers/brands and I am so happy I did. The voice activation isn't great and it takes a while for my phone to sync up with the bluetooth but I think that's because the signal in my room is really bad. The sound of the speaker is perfect and it fills up my room perfectly. I love it!

Once I set it up and got it going, I enjoyed every second of it. The sound quality is amazing and very nice, especially when listening to music. It responds immediately and overall, I am very happy with this speaker. After returning it Reviews Club, I am going to buy it :)

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Do NOT buy if you live in a college dorm I bought this for myself for Christmas last year to take to the university, but it has been an absolute disaster. I cannot play more than 2 or 3 songs without it disconnecting from my computer automatically and restarting. It will very often pop and crackle wildly until it disconnects and becomes a $300 paperweight. Most of the time, I'm not able to use it because it won't function without the Google Assistant set up, and it doesn't allow for any direct aux input. JBL has changed my speaker twice since January after I first reported this behavior, but it has gotten worse; so it was not simply a defective model. I recommend investing in a better speaker that DOES NOT have any of this smart, brittle software.

The cast firmware is still at 1.36 whereas the other Cast devices like Nest devices are at 1.46. When will this device be updated to the latest cast firmware?

Every time I ask it to set alarm. It would say okay but in the end it would say there's a glitch and to try again in a few seconds

The WiFi status light is very bright overnight in the bedroom. Is there a way to dim the Wifi status light, or turn it off?

The Link 300 doesn't have any wired connection aside from the power cord.

Hi, are there any updates to the firmware that make it compatible with Airplay 2? or 1? What's its latest firmware update and is there an online link showing what the updates are about? Thanks.

Hi, I tried the provided link and all I got was this error: 404 - Page not found at the JBL support site; the questions are simply and shouldn't need further information: does it support Airplay via firmware update, what's the latest firmware update and what does it contain; I'm guessing JBL might publish them as this is common practice.
