lightweight and smart headphones makes me happy
I bought this a month ago and i am happy with this. I also have some more expensiv JBL Headphones, but i wanted to have a lightweight headphone for easy handling. So i got these and i am happy with this. Connection to my smartphones was easy. The JBL App for headphones does not work but i dont need it in this case. You can stop music by touch the phones anf go on with another touch. Some more expensive one can do more, but it is for me a nice to have not a must have. So i have this lightweight headphones always in my pocket for listening music on my way to work. The sound is good, the case is smart und they do what they have to do in a easy and smart way.

Would recommend these to anyone!
I have been using these headphones for two weeks now and I'm absolutely in love with them. They are comfortable to wear, and the sound quality is very good. The battery life (which was one of my main concerns) exceeded my expectations. The battery really lasts a long time and they charge very fast. I installed the JBL app and played around with the settings. What is great about these is that they are very customizable. I was able to choose tap commands for both headphones and try out the bass equalizer - awesome, btw! Have used them during my commute, while working out and doing house chores and they behaved very well in all situations. Big up!

Earbuds with good sound and value for money.
I have been using JBL wave flex for last 2 weeks. I downloaded JBL app and then these earbuds were very easy to connect to the phone with bluetooth. The settings of the earbuds can be changed through app. There is equalizer in the app to customize the bass according to the wish. I am very impressed with the sound quality they are really good. These earbuds set easily and comfortably into ears. The biggest plus point is it's battery, earbuds really lasts for very long time (approximately 30 hrs). I have been using them extensively for two weeks and I love their battery capacity, they exceed my expectation. Also they get charged quickly. Whenever you change the settings you can hear what changes have been made. While listening music if there is any incoming call, you gets an alert on earbud 'Incoming Call'. These earbuds comes with very cute little case that easily fits into the pockets or small purse. I find them worth the price and would definitely recommend it.

Amazing sound quality, but mixed feelings
JBL is a brand which is well known for its amazing sound products. High quality, long endurance and a fair price are key elements I am enjoying with products from JBL. During the last years I highly apreciated my JBL Flip 2 and therefore I hadn't to think twice about buying the JBL Wave Flex. Unfortunately my expectations haven't been fully satisfied.
Positive facts:
The overall quality of these headphones are at a high standard, as I was used to. The headphones are really small, handy at the same time and still come with all the needed control elements. They can be used at all weather conditions, which make them a real allrounder. The first connections is really easy, as the start in an auto pairing mode which works for all products with a bluetooth connection. I have been amazed by the soundquality which really has a deep bass beyond all expectations. They fit easy in my ears and I got used to them in just a second. The headphones stay where they are during basic daily use (music at home, walking, watching videos) and the operating time of about 8hrs with extension to 24hrs (in case) is another amazing fact.
Speaking of which: They case is also of high quality. There are magnetic connections in it which places the headphones easy and perfect while charging. Charging the case is possible with USB-C, JBL delivers a small cable for that. Last but not least, the headphones as well as the case is equipped with small LED's which indicate its status clearly.
Negative facts
While being amazed from that sound, ther are some points that disturb the positive first glimps. I had a really hard time using the head phones with my HP Desktop PC as the connection is really poor. Using Youtube is nearly impossible as the left headphone looses its connection after a short period of time and all the voices get distorted all the time. While using the headphones at my mobile phone with Android on, there aren't such problems. Sadly the JBL support wasn't able to help me at all and I'm left with a product, that won't fit my daily routines at all.
With a price of about 80€ my expections are way above standard. There is no noice cancelling at all and you won't be able to adapt the headphones to your ear sice. With that said, they have a loose fit, which doesn't support sport acitivities at all. Lastly, I have to say that the touch elements react fast, but you have to know every single button combination to get the desired effect. Two buttons woud have supported an easier use.
Conclusions:
While having an amazing sound and a long endurance, there have to be more basic features in a 2022 product. Having connectivity problems with my PC makes me think, I'm a beta user. I would not recommend them at the moment.

Everything as it should be and even better
At first it was a switch from normal headphones to the JBL Wave Flex in-ear Bluetooth headphones for me, because I'm not used to such large in-ear plugs and I react a bit sensitively. However, the feeling in the ear subsided quite quickly and so far I have had no problems. After I installed the JBL Headphone app on my smartphone and made the sound settings I wanted, the listening pleasure started. I am positively surprised how well they work even when used daily outside of the apartment. They don't slip out of your ears and the battery really lasts a very long time. It's very easy to use and when you've been listening to music for long enough, you simply put it back in the charging case and it'll be back charged after a short while. TOP, A satisfied JBL Wave Flex in-ear Bluetooth headphone owner.

Can I control the volume (turn the music up or down) without needing my phone?
The JBL Wave Flex does have volume controls as part of the touch controls.
